The hot tub needed maintenance, the floors are very old, and it's obvious. In order to get to the backyard, you have to go out the front door. The BBQ is small, and you need charcoal. Despite these inconveniences, the property manager was very responsive to the tub not working and immediately proposed a solution. My friends and I enjoyed the ping pong table and the jacuzzi once it was fixed. We enjoyed our stay.

Host was very responsive and helpful! Place was perfect for our quick overnight trip to JTNP. Close to the park entrance and very close to some great restaurants (recommend the Joshua Tree Saloon). The folded towels and washcloths on the beds was a very nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent. The outdoor amenities are numerous and fun. The kitchen is well equipped and the overall house is very clean and nicely decorated. Parking is not an issue. The host, Lee, is extremely responsive. One of the best VRBOs I have stayed in.

Excellent communication with the host, any questions we had were immediately answered helpfully and kindly! Lee also offered us an early Che k in as they hadn’t had a guest the night before, which was very helpful for our group. Fabulous hot tub (always a priority when we book!) and cozy home :)

We stayed at the Casa Azul with our 2 fur babies (2 Labradors) and we had a good time. It was spacious enough for the 4 of us, there’s plenty of room for my boys to roam around inside the house, the house is very clean and doesn’t smell weird, the bedrooms are clean, bright, plenty of sunlight, the bathrooms are ok, the water pressure in the showers needs improvement, the garage was converted to a game room, the living room have a smart TV we used and ok seating, the kitchen is clean, have some basic kitchen necessities (plates, silverwares, cups, glasses, pots and pans, cooking utensils, coffee pods, Keurig machine, blender, the refrigerator is tiny! And the dining table is also small. Overall we had a good stay BUT i wish the house is connected to the yard! That is the only annoying part, you have to go around the house from the front door if you want to use the backyard. It was hard for my Labradors to get the concept of putting their leash to go potty (because we never do that at home, they have their own backyard that is accessible from the house) I wish that was disclosed to us when I asked if the backyard was fenced in, it would have been nice to know that its an ordeal to go in the backyard. I will recommend it to family that have older kids and not with toddlers, and any couples or group of friends that wants to explore Joshua tree. It was close to restaurants (house kitchen, sky high pie, the den, and Joshua tree Saloon) and coffee shop (we loved Joshua tree coffee)

Our stay was perfect! The location was ideal for visiting Joshua Tree and there are some great restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed the hot tub and hammocks in the back yard. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Above all, the host was gracious and responsive. Highly recommend!

We appreciated having a home base so close to the west entrance of Joshua tree National park. We enjoyed quiet mornings reading in the hammocks and soaking in the hot tub or watching a movie after long days in the park. The teens really enjoyed the game garage as well. The host was stellar at communication with recommendations and very responsive when we had questions. We were there for a week and he reached out midway to see if anything needed restocked (it didn’t because they had planned ahead). We enjoyed our time in Joshua tree.

Property owner had great communication throughout our interaction. Home was inviting and exactly as expected. It’s far enough away from the busier area to be a quiet place with not too much light pollution, yet close enough that a couple of us walked from the saloon to exercise off some good food.

Great property and you cannot beat the location to JT entrance. Everything I could possibly think of was provided in this house. The hot tub was lovely and the hammocks were *perfect* for stargazing. We enjoyed playing games like darts and ping pong when we weren’t out exploring. The house is a few miles from big box stores and great restaurants. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Such a lovely stay.

What a gem!!!

Wow—what an incredible stay! From the moment I arrived, I could feel the care and attention to detail that went into this space. Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home (and honestly, better than some hotels I’ve stayed in!).The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the location was ideal—peaceful. I especially appreciated the game room and spa and the hammocks…ESPECIALLY THE HAMMOCKS!!Mr Lee was so kind and responsive, making everything seamless from check-in to check-out. You can really tell they care about their guests having a great experience.I’m so grateful for this stay—it was relaxing, easy, and truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat and would absolutely love to come back.Thank you again for everything!

Nice house for hikers

The check in process was easy. There was ample room for our group of three couples to have a place near the park and all the other areas like Pioneertown, 29 Palms, etc. the game room set up in the garage was nice. The beds were all comfortable.We wished the hot tub would get warmer as it barely went up past 99. But the owner was very responsive and friendly in our messages.
