Exceeded sky-high expectations

As a fellow architect with an eye for good design, I could not have been more impressed with what we discovered upon arrival and throughout our stay. My wife and I, along with our 2 1/2 years old son thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone visiting Joshua Tree. The home is beautifully designed, very well kept, and furnished perfectly. From the carpets to the record collection (loved the original George Carlin live albums), everything helped make ours one of the most comfortable vacations we've had since our son was born. i would recommend the home to anyone looking for a perfect desert retreat or as a case study in perfect solar orientation. They even had a copy of the architectural plans for the home (huge bonus points for architecture nerds).

Comfortable clean and quiet

We loved our stay in this slightly out of the way property. We enjoyed the solitude after battling the park crowds. The home was clean, gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. We loved the amazing sunlight and views this unique home offered and has zero complaints. Also- We had no problems getting here on the dirt roads.

Spectacular property

Spectacular property. Would definitely rebook if visiting again. The house is immaculate, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The views are amazing. Be sure to watch the sunrises. Convenient to good restaurants and Joshua Tree National Park.

Wonderful Stay

We were drawn to this property because of the architecture, decor, and the setting. It did not disappoint. It completely lived up to our expectations and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We rated cleanliness 4 stars rather than 5 because there was a slimy pool of liquid in one of the refrigerator drawers that we set our groceries in before we realized it (had to pull them out, clean them and that part of the fridge). Other than that, the house was impeccable. The only other shortcoming was that we never found any wine glasses. If there were some, they were well hidden. We somehow managed to consume our wine without them, but it would be a nice touch we would advise to be added. We were also quite happy with the access to the Park. It is a nice balance between privacy and convenience. Again, a great stay we recommend highly.

Private and relaxing

This space is so much better than a hotel room. Sitting on the patio watching the sunrise in the morning or going down in the evening is peaceful and quiet. Private, and somewhat remote but only 5 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park. There are some houses nearby, but you never know it because the patio faces the desert valley floor with views of the mountains in the distance. I travel extensively for business and wanted something different from the typical hotel room experience, this location met my needs for comfort and quiet.

Light-filled, lovely home

We had a really wonderful week in this house. We loved all the windows, which fill the house with light, and there are beautiful views in every direction. Because I have some back issues, I particularly appreciated that the beds and chairs are comfortable. The kitchen was very nice too. We had to contact the property manager regarding a few small issues, and she was terrific about helping us.

Great views, beautiful home with a well equipped kitchen. The only downside was that the garbage disposal was not working in the kitchen which made clean up tricky. Overall, an amazing experience

Lovely, comfortable home

Three of us stayed for 4 nights. Very well laid out for privacy and comfort. It would be perfect for 2 couples. House has a great view of Joshua Tree and is a 15 minute drive from park entrance. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching quail run through the property. It was also great for star gazing. Very much enjoyed our stay. Had one question that was promptly answered by management. I absolutely recommend this property!

Great getaway

This stylish home with beautiful views made our short getaway to Joshua Tree comfortable and fun. It's close to the park, restaurants, and markets, and it provides everything you need both for staying in and going out. The architecture and all the vintage art, records, and furniture added to the vibe. Great place!
