Place was absolutely stunning and clean.Check in was super easy. They had plenty of board games to entertain, and a record player as well. Will definitely come back again!

We've stayed in many vacation houses before and this one has been our favorite. The house is light and bright and full of personality. We visited in April, and the desert garden was beautifully in bloom. Rabbits, ravens, and hummingbirds flitted through. The pool was too cold to use (outdoor temps were 70, with wind sometimes) but the hot tub was just right. I loved reading the recipe books on the swinging chairs outside and my kids loved the hammocks. The beds were comfy, and the neighborhood so quiet that I got some of the best sleep of my life. I can't recommend this place enough!

We just spent 3 nights at La Bandita and had a wonderful time. The house is clean, well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, and the large enclosed backyard was just right for our dog to enjoy, sunset watching, and stargazing. The pool and hot tub are clean but the weather was too cold and windy for swimming this time which gives us a reason to return. The neighborhood is quiet but close to town and the host is very welcoming and responsive although everything was just right and we didn’t need anything. Can’t wait to return to La Bandita.

The stargazing retreat is exactly what we needed to celebrate a milestone birthday with two dear friends. It was spacious, clean, very private and quiet. Doreen was extremely responsive the two times we needed to be in touch. I would highly recommend her as a host and the stargazing retreat, a place to stay.

Very accommodating hosts, and I highly recommend this VRBO. The pool, the Jacuzzi, and the fire pit, and the amazing Desert wildlife is just an experience that you have to have. The xeriscaping is exquisite, and beautifully complements the surrounding desert, terrain, as well as the property itself. Highly recommended!!!!

Best Experience Ever

My friends and I booked this rental property and had the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience. We had been wanting to go to Jtree for a couple of months never finding the right house. This house is minutes away from the park's back entrance, its spacious, it has a hot tub and a fire it to enjoy stargazing. I even jumped in the pool and swam for a little bit. It was also super clean and the host, Dory was very communicative. I will definitely be coming back !

We had a great time here, everything was clean and comfy and the communication with the owner was easy and nice. She also recommended a great little hike (Friendly Hill) close to the house which we enjoyed a lot! We also had fun watching the rabits in the front yard. Thank you for this pleasant stay!

Christmas at Joshua Tree

Beautiful property! The pictures are accurate. Stylish and comfortable! The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. We hiked Joshua Tree several days and came back each day to the hot tub to relax under the stars. Dessert was s’mores at the fire pit. The house provided a picture perfect vacation.

The space was so much bigger than I realized and I love how cute it was inside. The location was also perfect - I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere but was also close to the park and grocery stores/coffee shops when I needed them. It was the perfect spot to go after a long day of hiking and it's going to be my new go to spot when I got to Joshua Tree

Star gazing

We booked this VRBO because of a star gazing experience we had booked in Joshua Tree, which was amazing. The house was conveniently located near this event. It was the perfect fit for our party, clean, well-stocked, with a large backyard, perfect for our granddaughter. We were looking forward to spending a lot of time in the pool, but even in 90+ degree weather it was very cold (not heated). Overall we had a nice family vacation, which is all we were hoping for.

Amazing Peaceful Beautiful Home

Me and my 4 adult daughters just got back from spending 3 days in this Beautiful home if we could give it 10 stars we would From the minute you drive up iIts such a peaceful vibe The inside is exactly like the pics Check In was super easy Communication was great Kitchen is fully stocked She left us a welcome gift with snacks Beds were extra comfortable The backyard was relaxing clean and private Views all around If you are in Joshua tree this is the home to enjoy peace and relaxation We will definitely be back
