If you want to be in town there is not a better location. Charming home, great backyard on the creek, and garage/game room is large and full of fun stuff to do when you’re not adventuring on the lake or in the mountains. Loved our stay; owner super responsive and kind.

very nice and spacious. Having the creek in the backyard was an extra bonus. Would have appreciated a “heads up” regarding there is no coffee or tea available however the kitchen was very well equipped.

4th of July visit to Joseph OR

This house is very quaint & comfortable. We arrived to a clean and spacious house. Everything is as advertised. The backyard is wonderful & so nice by the water on summer days.We would definitely reserve this house on another visit to Joseph.

Delightful stay in convenient lication

This property is in town and walkable to shops, restaurants, and museums. The setting is lovely with the river flowing by the backyard. The kitchen is well equipped, There’s room for visiting, relaxing, dining, watching TV, listening to albums, and playing board games. The beds and furniture are comfortable. There’s even a game room. And the backyard has a grill and that relaxing view of the river. There’s fishing close, as well as the tram to Mount Howard. This house and the area have something for everyone!

Home away from home

We stayed a few days and it felt like home. Play room was bonus for noisy kids to play, nice backyard but lawncare was a little behind, kitchen well supplied, only one small tv, beds were comfy, plenty of towels. Great location for walking around town.

Home has great location but feels like you are staying in a fixer upper instead of a vacation get away. Doors don't close properly. Mismatched light bulbs. Had wasps getting in upstairs. BBQ was filthy. Several code issues with washer/dryer in basement. Sorry can't recommend.

Excellent location

Great stay at the White House. It's an excellent location, walking distance to food & shopping. The lake & hiking trails are within biking distance. Communication with the owner was quick & ready. Very clean home. Be sure to check out the owners store 2 blocks down the street. You'll fall in love with the soap & lotion.

The heart of downtown Joseph

The location and neighborhood were so convenient. We enjoyed being close to the shops and eateries. The inside of the home was comfortable. The soft towels and bath products were a nice touch.

Jem of a place!

This home was just so fun! The details of this home really surprised me. From the antiques, (brave to have in a rental),books and feel of homie surroundings. The view was awesome! The game room would have been fun with a larger group but, we'll be back to enjoy. Fully stocked kitchen was so appreciated. This home is quaint, and inspires a desire to just relax and take it all in.
