"Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. "

"This was our first time stay here and it was a great experience. We had 12 adults there were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We also had 4 boats and it was a little tight at the docks, but we were able to make it work. Very nice area. The water was a little rough at the docks over the weekend with all the boats going by. It did settle down during the week. You can tell they have been working on the house to improve it. "

"Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. On top of this, the owners provide kayaks and boats you can use to go into the water. Spacious cabins, and we were even granted an additional one complimentary. Overall...

"This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. "

"Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. "The rustic look and feel of the house was wonderful. It was exactly as the pictures showed. Also the games room in the basement is very nice to have. In particular we enjoyed the pool table. The location and property are very quiet which we appreciated. The town was small but we still had a chance to explore, and also enjoyed a hiking next to a waterfall about a 15 minute drive from the propery. Overall we had a good experience."

"This location was excellent. We were a big group with kids and had more than enough space. The backyard was great for the kids, bonfire and space to play games, and a good dock to dock our boat. Great communication with the host and very clean. Would recommend this place. "

"Mom & daughter spent a lovely week at the Sunrise Cottage. It was smaller than we expected but comfortable, peaceful and well-equipped. We could see that the host puts a lot of time and effort into gardening and beautifying the property and we really enjoyed the beautiful flowers all around.
