"Staff were very friendly and helpful, great to have a chat with about the area. Accommodation was exactly what we needed and a good choice of dinner options."

"El propietario Derek es encantador y ayuda en todo lo que necesites. El desayuno es estupendo, te tratan con mucho cariño"

"My friends and I stayed overnight during our road trip. We chose the hotel because it was along our route and had ample parking available. We were expecting a comfortable stay, good hospitality, quiet surroundings, easy parking… and that is EXACTLY what we got. Zero complaints and would happily book again if in the area."

"A great location with Lovely staff:)"

"A mix of old and new - breakfast room / restaurant is gorgeous. Secure key card entry to rooms/lifts which is always great."

"The room was lovely but the sink in the en-suite was tiny & hard to get a wash or clean your teeth in without getting water everywhere. The front of the sink unit was already water damaged. The shower was good & easy to use. The lady who greeted us was very helpful & friendly especially as we forgot to take our key out with us & had to ask her to let us in to our room. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for her. There was a good choice for breakfast which was cooked to order"

"Staff were excellent. Food was very good. Central location. Spacious room with fridge. All rooms in the hotel are up some stairs. No lift."

"Lovely old house, the bedrooms were warm and cosy and the breakfast was exceptional"

Sadly in need of a makeover."

"Perfect place"

"This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area."
