El hotel está bien, pero la situación es pésima. Se encuentra en una callejuela dentro de un entramado de calles que nadie conoce, para llegar ahí hay que preguntar mil veces y lo más fácil es perderse. Otro problema es la cantidad de perros que por la noche no paran de ladrar y a primera hora del día pueden ser peligrosos.

Nice view of the fort

The bed is comfortable and the owner is very helpful and friendly, he booked a taxi car for us. The deluxe room with aircon is basic and hot water wasn't working. The rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of the fort. Overall we enjoyed our stay but I reckon the room was overpriced.

Estupenda casa familiar

La habitación no es de lujo, pero esta limpia y con detalles que intentan hacer mejor tu estancia. La cama es muy cómoda. La familia es encantadora, si tienes cualquier problema a duda te ayudan sin dudarlo. Muy muy bien. A nosotros nos buscaron un taxi para ir a jaisalmer a muy buen precio Como punto mejorable indicaría que el restaurante fuera vegetariano y no vegetariano. Ahora solo es vegetariano. La localización es buena aunque tuvimos problemas para que varios tuc tuc lo encontraran

The people hosting were nice enough. However, property facilities were not suitable enough for the weary traveller. It's difficult to get to. No locks on door. Can't bring outside water bottles in. Bed not clean. Insects like spiders and ants in room. Aircon and electricity was shut off in middle of night. It was not made clear to us in the first place that this was a home stay, not a hotel. Would definately not recommend

Dont go by Photos.Its one of the hotel in congested areas. No trained staff, Worst service, The rooms are too small and not maintained. Suggested only for traveler who has low budget

This is a accommodation not a hotel which can't provide you water for toilet,bath and drink also. Location is very unhygienic,very small room, no one to attend your problem and I am not going to book anything through Expedia in future.

Mixed opinions about Hem Guest house

It’s a nice guest house with a view of Mehrangarh fort from it’s terrace. There is a rooftop restaurant and the staffs are very cooperative. They have facilities for day trips and village safari and also all kinds of transportation. Apart from all these , they have issues with water supply and hot water shower didn’t work. Bathrooms are tiny and water taps had electric current passing through which was risky. It is situated in the market area so noise must be a problem for some.

Stay at Hem Guest House

We stayed for about 1 week, services are good. Staff was available, food was excellent 😍 . The most awesome thing about the guest house is the rooftop view. It is excellent, it gives the view f the famous Mehrangarh fort

Bad Hotel and can say it is inside the slum area.

Pretty bad experience... After looking at the hotel and the way to get to the hotel, it was so bad that I never checked in. Rooms where decent. But still, the rooms where so conjusted and so dark it was such a bad experience. Plus hotel is way inside from the main road, and the way to get to the hotel is so narrow that you can say at a time only 1 rikshaw and scooter can pass by. So if you are travelling by car.. you need to park the car in pay and park which is near by railyway station and hotel around 10 - 15 mins of distance. My whole money was a waste as I didnt want to stay over there and plus no refund.

Cute outdated Little guest house

Greta staff, polite, helpful. Furtniture needs update. Hot water does not work. The don't service the rooms while you are there.

They reuse toilet paper. And they don't change the sheets. Plus no hot water and black outs happen very often

Hem is a gem!

This place really makes you feel at home! We stayed only 1 night but wished we had stayed more. The view from the rooftop patio was amazing and the staff were so friendly and attentive. They offer pick up if you contact them in advance which is helpful, because it's located down a narrow side street. The room was simple but clean with beautiful hand made furniture. Its about a 5-10 min walk to Sardar Market and 15 min walk to the fort. Definitely recommend this place!

Best place in Jodphur!

The guest house was the best place we stayed at in the whole of India. The staff are so friendly and interesting, the food is brilliant (try the malai kofta and the thali). The room was clean and well kept, and the rooftop gives the most outstanding view of the fort that lights up at night. I think the best point of the stay was that we got such a nice family feel from it. Worth a visit!

In old bazaar area of Jodhpur

Overall, the Jain brothers were nice and helpful. The only downside to this location is that you need to rent an auto to get to the hotel, since cars and bigger vehicles cannot pass through the narrow roads.

Great Views and comfortable room!

All good. No issues. Great view of the Fort from the rooftop restaurant. Only downside was that the wifi was not great in the room but ok on the roof. The staff were friendly and helpful.

petite pension de famille agréable

Petite chambre sans grand confort mais l'esprit familial est présent avec un hôte accueillant, très belle vue sur le toit terrasse. Quartier central accessible uniquement en Tuk Tuk.

Amazing stay with a lovely family. They were extremely helpful and we got to experience the amazing location of old Jodhpur.

Awesome place to stay! Felt like home.

This was truly a great place to stay, and I really wish we had been able to stay for more than one night! Vippin was a gracious and thorough host, and his family is equally amazing! They made us feel welcome from our very first minute, and took care of us all the way until we left the next morning. Once we settled in, they arranged some excellent Tuk-tuk drivers to take us up to the fort so we could see that before the sun went down. Then, we had an excellent dinner on their rooftop dining area, with the food prepared by his wife and sister in law. They also helped us arrange some train travel for later in our week, and made sure we had a very nice and inexpensive taxi drive down to Udaipur the next day. These people care about their guests, and they treat you just like family every step of the way. The beds were comfortable, but a little wobbly. That is really just a nit-pick. Everyone in our group had a great night's sleep, and we all agreed that this was the best place we stayed at our entire trip (even better than the 4 star hotel in Kerala)! A little advice. They are located in "Old City" and regular taxis won't go there. You'll need to hire Tuk-tuk's and I would highly recommend you contact Hem Guest House ahead of time. They told me that they would have made arrangements to have someone meet us, and it would have cost less than hiring a ride separately. They truly will go the extra mile, so please reach out to them ahead of your arrival, you'll be glad you did!

Accueil familial en plein centre de Jodhpur

On se sent comme "à la maison". Terrasse avec vue sur la forteresse, idéal pour parcourir la ville de Jodhpur. pas accessible en voiture mais prendre un tuk-tuk. Etape très agréable.

J'y retournerais ...

Dans l'ensemble, la Hem Guest House est un endroit agreable pour séjourner à Jodhpur ! Très belle chambre (j'avais choisi la plus belle), les trois frères à l'écoute (malgré le décès de leur maman 3 jours auparavant). Par contre, ne faites pas laver votre linge par leurs services ... ma blouse blanche est revenue complètement jaune !!! Et je pense qu'ils prennent une belle commission sur le taxi (demandé à l'hôtel pour aller à Udaipur !)

Great Stay

The best place I stayed in India. The family are lovely and very helpful whilst the guest house itself is of a very high standard. More then that I felt they were completely trustworthy. The roof top restaurant has an amazing view and the food is great. Highly recommended.

Ottima guest house da non perdere assolutamente!

La mia valutazione complessiva e' positivissima!! Guest house a conduzione familiare, camere pulitissime, confortevoli e molto carine. Personale gentilissimo e cibo buonissimo a prezzi modici che si può assaporare nel terrazzo della guest house che offre perfetta vista sul forte. Consigliato a tutti! Grazie Hem!
