"Darien is a great stop while traveling up or down the coast right off of 95 with a safe little town and nice restaurants that are pup friendly. The host is so nice. She even picked us up from a local restaurant when it poured rain! There were dog bowls with fresh water waiting for our pup. She has thought of what you need when traveling. A great stay (twice!)"

"Great place to get away from everything, do not expect to have everything at your fingertips. Its the way it is for a reason , a get away from life and a bit of just normalcy. I personally think the sulfur smell from the well water is overexaggerated. It honestly was not bad. We carried a couple packs of water even though Ryan told us he would have some. I just take it that its an expense I should have , just like toilet paper or paper towels etc. One night the lightning took out the surge...

"What a great house. It was super secluded and quiet. The house was pristine and had all of the essentials, including toiletries. You could literally just show up with clothes and groceries and never leave.There are plenty of great dining and beverage options within 10 minutes and even more within 30. We made several trips to Darien, Brunswick and Savannah.The pool and yard were the best attraction though, such a great space.We also enjoyed the basketball video game.Really not much more you could...

"This was our third time starting at this house. We love it, just like before. Fishing all day, playing games at night (tons available at the house) or watching funny videos on YouTube in the cozy living room. I drew the blinds up in the living room, bedrooms and the kitchen, because all have the beautiful marsh and the river out back. Love the kitchen at this house too. Loaded up on blue crabs, Bait shops just minutes away. Perfect vacation!"

"Simply amazing! Amazing property, amazing hosts, amazing attention to details! Probably one of the most well appointed and well stocked vacation homes I’ve had the pleasure of renting. If you want a relaxing vacation, this is the place! We fished, sunned, swam, grilled, and soaked up the low country life and hope to come back again. Close enough to both Savannah and SSI for day trips. This is a VRBO gem!"

"Perfect little spot for a stopover for a night or two if you have a long drive up or down 95. My wife and I stayed there with our puppy. 2 miles to 95 and everything was walkable. Friendly neighborhood and very close to the water. Bungalow was very clean and had what you needed for a short stay. A great alternative to getting a hotel."

"We enjoyed our stay. They provided a dog tie out so I could have her eat outside. We appreciated that they repaired the internet quickly after a storm. Comfortable bed. Nicely outfitted kitchen, but did miss a dishwasher. "

"Besides some fireworks for the 4th this place was very relaxing. All the birdsongs, crickets and frogs around the property made us feel like we were much further outside of town but with good restaurants and shops just a mile or 2 away. Great location for daytrips to St Simons or Jekyll Island. We would definitely like to stay again sometime but will bring more kitchen supplies."

"To say that this couple went beyond expectations to make sure that we were safe and comfortable- there are no words. Their home was beautiful, updated, and the coolest place we’ve ever stayed, according to my grandchildren(which is amazing since we had just spent a week in a cabin in the Smokey mountains). If you have the chance book it, it’s an hours drive to many places. Thank you for your service, your hospitality was amazing!"

"Very nice and clean. Stayed with my husband to attend a wedding at Red River Estate. Conveniently located near the event and only a 20 minute drive to downtown Brunswick. Wasn’t noisy even being across from the boat ramp."

"The condo was spacious, comfortable, and clean and close to several choices for meals. We loved the out-of-the-way ambience of Darien. Our dog enjoyed the ample windows for looking out. Host was quick to respond when there was a promised item missing (hair dryer) and we were completely satisfied with the resolution. Property is a short drive from Savannah and St. Simons."
