Beautiful Apartment; Scary Out of the Way Location
The apartment itself was clean, stylish and maintained to a good standard; and although WIFI details were not initially provided, Lina quickly remedied this.
However, the big thing for us was the location was very sketchy. We arrived in the evening (dark) and tried to find somewhere to eat - I felt very unsafe as a solo parent with two kids walking around this area (there was nothing but a few small grocery stores within walking distance and lots of males hanging around in groups felt intimidating for us).
We ended up using door to door Ubers for all journeys over the 4 days, which was expensive but gave us peace of mind.
The block of apartments was very noisy with a strong smell of Cannabis, dogs barking constantly and lots people coming and going in the communal stairwell and hanging around in groups outside. Guys backfiring their vehicles all night on the road near the bedrooms.
I would not book this apartment again; but we did enjoy our trips into New York and Jersey City but location was dire.
