I had a wonderful stay. The hanok is very charming and perfectly well located. It has all the comodities that you need for a confortable stay. In addition the people who run it are very friendly and welcoming.

AMAZING!! This was such a lovely place to stay not only is it conveniently located in the beautiful Hanok village making it super easy to wander around and check out the sights. The care and genuine kindness from our hosts was superb. They helped us with dining recommendations, made us delicious breakfasts and an ice coffee when we returned to the Hanok after wandering the streets. I cannot thank them nor recommend this stay enough.

Host was very kind and friendly. Very cute place right in the middle of the Hanok Village so you can easily walk around. Breakfast in the morning was so good and fresh. 10/10 :)

Traditional stay in the heart of Jeonju Hanok Mael
This was one of my best Hanok stays in Korea. The room was spacious and cozy for a solo traveler and it would have been equally so for a couple with one child. Teh room and the bathroom were both spotless clean. The Hosts were absolutely fantastic. They went out of their way to help me with my travels, storing of my luggage and providing general guidance. The hosts do not speak too much English but they use a translator app that was very effective. They have also provided a hearty breakfast from to the room. I would very highly recommend "The Mumum" to anyone wants to experience traditional Korean lodging (e.g., sleeping on a futon on the heated floor, eating Korean style breakfast in a traditional wooden building).

친절하고 재밌는 사장님이 운영하는 최고의 전주 숙소!
가격대비 컨디션 너무 좋아요. 고즈넉한 한옥의 매력을 느낄수 있고 복층 구조가 너무 재밌습니다. 물 수건 샤워용품등 너무 훌륭하게 구비돼 있고, 무엇보다 온돌의 후끈함이 피로를 싹 가시게 합니다. 조식으로 나온 과일과 빵은 깜짝 놀랄만큼 신선하고 맛납니다.

The owner was so lovely and gracious despite the language barrier. Very convenient spot but not in the middle of a busy area. The complimentary breakfast was huge and delicious. I would stay here again, especially because of the owner’s hospitality.

Très bon séjour d'une nuit dans le village historique. Les propriétaires sont très accueillant et nous avons adoré le généreux déjeuner traditionnel servi le lendemain. Pour un séjour authentique, c'était parfait.

Second time staying at this property. It's a traditional homestay managed by an old lady (이모) and her husband. She is always warm and welcoming but is strict about the rules of keeping the place clean and conducive for everyone (I don't mind at all!) Love the generous breakfast served every morning! Walking distance to all the must-visit spots in Jeonju Hanok Village and famous restaurants. It is definitely an experience that I will keep in good memories and may again come back for!

Come to Jeonju Hanok Village, it's a must to stay in a Hanok homestay. Deomumun's owners are a cute and nice couple. They were so happy to find I knew a little Korean. The lady host treated me very kindly and well, even teaching me proper Korean greeting. Every morning breakfast is served at the door that were delicious and filling. All in all, it made the stay cosy and lovely. If only Jeonju city got more to offer, else I would've stayed longer. There are many other Hanoks here in the village but I will come back here to Deomumun the next time I revisit.

The owner is very kind and makes your stay feel like home! She speaks some English and recommends sights and restaurants that are worth going to, as well as preparing a delicious breakfast of assorted fruits and rice cakes. I think this was my favourite hotel/guesthouse during my entire trip and I would happily return. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the heated floor is delightful and there are mosquito nets on all the doors and windows. The wet room shower has good water pressure and fresh towels and bottled water are provided every day. Although the walls are thin, during our stay the other guests were respectful and quiet after 10pm which is the official quiet time. The property location is excellent- within short walking distance to all the main attractions but tucked away in a quiet side street and the area felt very safe.

全州韓屋村にあり、観光にとても便利な立地にあります。 建物も綺麗で、緑が多いお庭にテンションが上がります。 部屋も掃除が行き届いており、快適です。 到着後すぐにお母さん（オーナーさん）が、日本語と韓国語の地図を使って、韓屋の場所の説明などしてくれ、チェックイン前でしたが、荷物を預かってくれました。 他にも何かと気にかけてくださり、とてもありがたかったです。 朝食は、伝統餅・フルーツ・コーヒーが出ます。韓国式の小テーブルにセットされ出てくるので、朝から楽しい気持ちになります。 コーヒーのお代わりを勧めてくれたので、庭のベンチで飲みながら、優雅な時間を過ごしました。 また全州へ行く機会があれば、必ずここに泊まりたいです。

가족여행 최적
8명 가족이 두개 방을 이용했습니다. 복층구조로 공간 활용하기 용이했고 무엇보다 청결과 관리가 남다르셨고 빈말이 아니라 진심으로 친절하십니다. 아침 조식도 익히 알고 있으면서도 허전하지 않을까했는데 든든합니다.추천합니다.

Guest House tradizionale gestita da moglie e marito estremamente gentili e premurosi. Naturalmente bisogna adattarsi a spazi ristretti e un po' scomodi, ma tutte le strutture dei dintorni sono come questa. Le uniche due cose negative sono la doccia che è incorporata nel bagno e quindi quando una persona fa la doccia bagna tutta la stanza da bagno, e la colazione che è composta da frutta (deliziosa) e dolci di riso che sono però diversi dai nostri gusti occidentali. Per tutto il resto il servizio è ottimo e la gentilezza è squisita. È tutto molto pulito e ospitale. Consiglio di portare antizanzare per i dintorni in quanto ci sono molte zanzare.

We had a great time!
The house was very beautiful and the owner was very nice and helpful. She provided us with a map of the town at our arrival, and did her best to answer all our questions. The breakfast was especially very good! Thank you, we will come back!

The room is too small, it only suites for 2 adulds & 1 small kid. We're 4 adults and paid for 4. The bathroom is tiny, everything will get wet whenever you take a shower. We were uncomfortable to sleep here; we had to abandon our room to stay somewhere else on first night. The host wasn't friendly either; she kept checking on us every 10 minutes. Will not come back here ever.

예약하신 객실안에는 예약인원만 들어가는게 당연한 규정이나 안내에도 불구하고 5명이 들어가서 씻고 쉬고 하셨지요. 잠은 다른곳에서 주무셨지만 다음날 아침역시 그러셨습니다. 제가 이곳에 상주하는데도 도착해서 5분이 오신거에 어떠한 말씀도 없으셨고 당연한 규정안내에 기분이 굉장히 나빠하시며 실시간 피드백은 물론이거니와 리뷰에도 악의적인 글을 가득 쓴거에 대해 성인으로써 옳바르지 못한 행동이라고 생각됩니다. 저는 매순간 게스트들에게 최선을 다했고 친절하게 행동했습니다. 물론 이분들에게도요. 이 글을 다른 분들이 꼭 읽어주시길 바랍니다. 가끔 이런 분들때문에 숙소를 운영하는 분들이 피해를 너무 많이 입고 있는 상황이 안타까워 솔직한 글 남겨봅니다. 저희 더머뭄은 마음 따듯한곳입니다.

Nice place with breakfast included
We stayed one night. Liked the breakfast. 떡 and assorted fruits and coffee. Air conditioner was working well. The attic was hot but had a little fan that helped during the night time.

Stayed one night with two kids 4/9 yo. The room we stayed (Hangbok) had a little loft that fits two people to sleep. My kids had no problem climbing up and down - but we made sure to watch them cuz it was quite steep. The location was perfect - right next to Gyeonggi jeon and very close to shopping/restaurant streets. Also light korean style breakfast is served for free. AC was good but the cold air is weak on the loft as loft is higher than the AC height, which I didn’t really mind but worth noting.
