Amazing views!!!!

From the moment we walked in, the views captured us! Being in the end unit and up high (9the floor), this is the best perch in the building!! A bit of updating would be welcome too. Our preference is always wood or plank floors, so the older carpet was not our style. Some of the furniture is overworn and needs updating. The kitchen and baths were great and Everything you need is provided! Our weather was beautiful at the start; then so windy we couldn’t bike or walk.,The beach, while gorgeous, is a bit squishy for fast walks. The pool is perfect and heated. We loved our stay and would come again.

Hutchinson Island /Dunes Oceanside ( The Great Escape!)

Loved my month long stay at the 9th floor penthouse.. Amazing views of the ocean , sunrise / sunsets , the river , from the wrap around balcony . Beautiful beach area, easy access to lovely pool and beach, Luscious landscaping, very clean !. Appreciated the privacy of the corner unit , quiet and serene , great views, a much needed little escape! The host, John, was wonderful. Great personality and extremely accommodating to assure all went smoothly, very organized with supplying info needed for the condo, and always available to answer questions, and provide assist when needed. A little bit of paradise, for sure !

Great condo with poor building management

The condo was very clean, roomy and well equipped. Unfortunately, the pool and gym were not open when we arrived. Building management had told the unit owner in November that pool maintenance and repairs were imminent. Unfortunately, the work did not start until December. The building management company then informed the condo owners and tenants on Dec. 9 that the building elevators would be shut down Dec. 13 for 6 to 9 days. We informed the condo owner that we would not be able to stay in the condo under those conditions, and would have to find accommodation elsewhere. John, the owner, was very upset and apologetic about the whole situation. He very kindly refunded our entire payment for our stay, even though we were able to use the unit for a week before leaving. John was very good to deal with, and very sensitive to our situation.

Summer of 2021

I came to this property because it seemed convenient to a project I was involved in. On arrival I found the condo to be as advertised. We spent many hours enjoying the balcony view of the ocean. I did not use the pool and beach as much as I would have liked but the job I was there for involved long hours. My wife and our friends made up for me in their enjoyment of the pool and beach. Overall we found the property quiet and serene. without the hustle and bustle of most resorts we have been to. This was a definite plus. In the future if I have a need to return to this area, this will be the first place I call.

Amazing views and relaxing environment

My husband and I stayed here with our 7 yr old daughter. This condo is very well equipped. Kitchen is stocked with spices, pots and pans, plenty of gadgets, and multiple ways to make coffee. Beach supplies include two large umbrellas, 5 chairs, tons of cooler options, fishing poles, tackle box, nets, buckets, and 10+ beach towels (BYO kid toys if needed). Linens were aplenty. Beds were comfy and plush top. Lots of pillows. On two occasions, internet had issues but were quickly resolved and otherwise very fast and dependable (a definite plus is that John is readily available and very communicative to resolve any issues). TVs worked great, we brought our Firestick and it worked seamlessly on the main TV. Showers had great pressure. You will run into some noise from the AC unit specifically effecting the smaller bedroom, so bring a sound machine if that kind of thing bothers you. The absolute best part of the condo is the view! Top floor means a nice breeze and no biting insects (do bring lots of repellent for the no see ums and mosquitoes). Check in was easy breezy as was check out. Beach is lovely and on the busiest days was populated by maybe 4-5 other families. Pool was the same (wish it was chilled!). This was overall a very quiet, relaxing, and laid back environment. 100% would come back in the future!

Our stay at this rental was better than superb!! The place was immaculate, the views were just incredible!! Wake up to sunrise and enjoy evening sunsets all from your large private balcony!! John was so very helpful with everything and made sure all was well! Thank you John for making our stay fabulous!!!

Fun At The Beach During The Virus

We decided before we left to stay "isolated" at the beach because of the virus and this was a great place to do that. The balcony was perfect for viewing sunsets and sunrises. It also gave us a perfect place to view the ospreys nesting in the area while they fished to feed their young. The beach turned out to be a great place to walk and pick up shells. The owner, John Commons, was very helpful and quickly responded to our requests. He was also nice to give us information about the area before we arrived. We enjoyed our time at the beach.

PENTHOUSE PARADISE

This property is great! Very well stocked from beach stuff, to linens/towels, to all kitchen needs, to three flats screen TVs . The location of the building, and particularly this condo, makes you feel like you are secluded from anyone else. From the wrap-around balcony you can't see any buildings for miles -- just trees, ocean, or the inter-coastal river.

Lovely condo, awesome balcony, and an aiming-to-please host!

John is a host who aims to please. He is very friendly and quick to respond to any questions and gives detailed instructions. His condo is cozy and comfortable. The balcony offers views of the sunrise over the ocean and the sunset over the Indian River. The kitchen is well-equipped, the cable is great, and the wifi is fast. The condo's heated pool is superb! There is a nice little drive-through car wash right in the parking lot to rinse off the salt spray. The beautiful ocean in front of the condo has a few rocks, which you can see from the balcony at low tide so you know where to swim and where to avoid. We usually drove 10 minutes to lovely Jensen Beach Park , which has life guards, a very long and wide beach, free entrance and parking, a snack bar, bathrooms, and showers for rinsing off. Five minutes away from the condo is our favorite restaurant, Shuckers, with outdoor sitting and a bar right in front of the ocean with reasonable prices. And the happy hour is great! All and all we spent a most enjoyable month at John's Penthouse Condo!!!

Great location & fabulous owner

This was our fourth year at the property. While the weather was poor this year, the property did not disappoint. A 9th floor corner view is outstanding and the owner is excellent to work with. In our 4 years we have never had a problem on any issue with the owner. Waking up to the sunrise and then a long walk on the beach was our daily start. There are many local activities, including our first visit to a polo match. So many restaurants to choose from, and lots of golf courses to play. An excellent vacation!

We had a wonderful stay in this penthouse. It was equipped with everything you need, comfortably furnished and very clean. The views of the Atlantic were unique. We can highly recommend this apartment!

Wonderfull Condo with a great view.

This was our second two month stay at this condo. We enjoyed both stays tremendously. The location is great for walking on both the sidewalk in front of the unit and on the long beach behind the unit. The balcony offers a great view of the ocean and the Indian River, thanks to the rap-around balcony. The unit is well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and for the beach. The owner is concerned with your enjoyment and is easy to reach. There are several nice restaurants in the area. We would definitely recommend this condo to a friend.

Excellent!

It is a beautiful view from the balcony! Loved hearing the ocean and watching the waves and of course the sunrises! The unit is very nice and exactly what we wanted. It is well stocked with supplies. We could have used a few folding chairs for company around the table, but that is the only thing I can think of. Thank you for sharing your home!

We loved the place , had everything you would need if you wanted to do anything while vacationing on the beach. We just lounged and relaxed most of the time in very comfortable bedrooms and living room. Our lanlord was the best , helping us along the way from signing the lease to the day of arrival.
