"We spent a delightful time in this spacious home celebrating several family milestones. The house had many family friendly spaces and also many separate rooms when you wanted some alone time. We appreciated the firewood and materials to make s’mores! One small piece of advice would be to bring enough dishwasher pods if you plan on cooking and cleaning a couple of days they provided 2 in our case but that’s a very small inconvenience."

"The house was even better than anticipated! The owners thought of everything one might need when staying with a group. We cooked, grilled, swam, fished, canoed, kayaked, slept in the hammock, gathered around the firepit -- and had a fantastic experience. The location is picturesque on the shores of Lay Lake. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and incredibly accommodating. We can't stop talking about our time there and hope to go back again next year!"

"What a lovely place! We were in the area to relax, fish, and take in a NASCAR race and this beautifully decorated, modern cottage was perfect. Everything you might need for a relaxing stay is provided. The location is rather remote, so plan ahead. It is well worth the drive and the directions are clear and accurate. We'll be back!!"

"We checked in late Friday, and the front desk staff was very personable and pleasant. On Monday morning we had an issue with our room key not working, and again staff was extremely kind and patient even though we could tell they were having a busy morning. The hotel was perfect walking distance to the amphitheater and I highly recommend it if you're in town for a show. They limit washing/cleaning which is great for the environment, but only have plastic utensils and disposable coffee cups. "
