Property was pet friendly, upstairs balcony was nice but cramped, bringing keys to office could be avoided by allowing renters to leave keys in structure instead of having to bring to office.

Great view of the ocean. Tides were high while we were there due to a storm that passed through so we did not have direct access to beach from our condo, but the view was great. Everything was clean and there were plenty of items in the starter kit for the whole time we were there. All the beds were comfortable, as well as the furniture downstairs. We rented bikes and ride everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back

Loved the location. We stay at the Villas every year and we’re never disappointed. Always clean (the grounds and the condo). The added shade to the pool is a nice touch! We’ve rented with Jekyll Island reality before, too, and they’re always nice and the units are always meticulously cleaned. Thanks for a great vacay!

The most relaxing get away

The villa was exactly as it was listed. The check in and check out process was really easy. This was a beautiful getaway for us. The ocean is just a few steps away and we love how welcomed we felt as soon as we arrived. thank you so much!

This condo was in a great location, easy access to driftwood beach and all the restaurants and trails. The condo was comfortable enough although the pillows were not good and mattresses lumpy. Otherwise everything was good for our stay and we had a great time!

Great location, perfect for a lowkey family vacation.

Enjoyed the pools, on-site restaurant, and beachfront location. Fun to walk to Driftwood Beach and a close drive to the Village. The unit itself was a bit dirty, especially the floors (you know it's bad when your three year old tells you the floor is dirty). Only a few hours a day of actual beach/ocean access but that is adequately disclosed in the listing. Great to end the day sitting on the balcony with a cocktail listening to the waves crash. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice and relaxing

The property is in an excellent location. Neighbors were all quiet and respectful of each other. The inside of the place wasn’t as clean as described, especially considering Covid. But I knew to bring my own disinfectant anyway, so it’s all good. Had a couple of little issues, but they were dealt with very promptly. The pool was a bit dirty, but for the location and the view…I didn’t even care! All in all, a great and relaxing time.

Find a different unit in the same complex.

It was not clean. The beds were awful and uncomfortable. There was not a decent pillow. The sheets were horrible. The blankets were not clean. Not a decent frying pan. The view was incredible. Stay in a different unit. The furniture and unit were very dated which is fine but it was not clean.

Great long weekend get away

This was a good spot for a quick weekend getaway. Great and convenient amenities (pool, fabulous restaurant, bike rentals, beach view, close to driftwood beach). I loved that it had a deck off the master bedroom. This unit is close to the ice machine and parking in the shade. I've stayed in many different locations on Jekyll and this is a great one. Slightly less convenient to historic district and shopping village compared to some of the locations further south, but the island is small so it really doesn't matter. If you're looking to relax close to the water, this has what you need. I loved that we could walk to driftwood beach every night. The condo is aging and could use a few spruce ups in the kitchen and bathroom, but it was still very enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

The villa is nice. My only complaint is that there was no plug for the bathtub. I contacted the realty company first day and never got a response. It made washing my baby difficult. Not a huge deal, but still would have been nice to be addressed. Other than that, just as described.

Nice stay

Convenient. Quiet. Easy beach access. Clean enough. Walls could use a repaint. Some furniture upgrades. But then again, not on Jekyll Island to stay inside. All in all, clean and quiet.

You'd give up a lot for that view - and you do.

My immediate reaction was to call Jekyll Realty and report that the condo hadn't been cleaned. But then I looked at it and realized that it was just stained. EVERYWHERE. Doors, the fridge, the toilet, the tub, the walls - you name it. A fresh coat of paint on everything would do wonders. Every piece of furniture in the house except the house, coffee, end tables in the living room and TV stand was wicker. Old, 1980s wicker - not the cool new plastic stuff. The bed was hard, squeaked loudly enough to wake me from my sleep, and the pillow were so flat I had to stack 4 of them to make one decent one. The kitchen was lacking as well - no measuring cups, no salt and pepper, no ice maker, no cutting board, and the pot handle broke in half while I was making dinner on the last night. But the view is to die for (even if the bedroom balcony railing is just BARELY too tall to really be able to sit and enjoy it unfettered. I loved being able to walk out the back door and be right on the beach. You can see the SSI lighthouse from the bedroom balcony, and walking to Driftwood was a breeze. Overall I loved the location and the view, but I'll find somewhere else to stay in the same complex next time. There are no streaming device options and only one DVD player (available options say 2), and there were no batteries in the DVD player remote, so plan ahead if you decide to brave it.

Fall Break Family Vacay

Overall this was a nice unit. Very dated and the master bed needs to be updated as it squeaks with every move you make. Very peaceful and quiet.
