Garden Cottage 79 Modern and sleek at the beach

  • Garden Cottage 79 Moderno y elegante en la playa .... Esta perfección Cottage combina muebles elegantes y modernos con el ambiente de la vida costera. Entras en esta casa a través de la cocina, que está totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos Whirlpool de acero inoxidable negro, una cafetera Black and Decker, una olla eléctrica, una licuadora, una batidora y cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar para preparar una comida casera. La amplia sala de estar conduce al gran porche con mosquiteros, que cuenta con una mini nevera y es perfecto para comer al aire libre en cualquier clima. Esta cabaña cuenta con una suite principal en el nivel principal, con una gran ducha y vestidor. En la base de las escaleras encontrará el medio baño, junto con el lavadero con una lavadora y secadora apiladas. En el segundo piso encontrará 2 dormitorios adicionales, cada uno con una cama queen, baño privado y acceso al balcón amueblado completo con una cama de día.

    Gestión de sitio

    Acceso a la playa: la continuación del Proyecto de Rehabilitación de Revestimiento de la Isla Jekyll en el estado de Georgia, ha resultado en la pérdida temporal del acceso a la playa al agua a lo largo de nuestra costa. Todavía hay acceso a la playa de marea alta, parte del revestimiento de la roca. Recomendamos Driftwood Beach, ubicada al norte de The Cottages o solo a unos minutos en auto al sur del área de Great Dunes Park.

Quite upscale and newish compared to other options on the island such as hotels available at a comparable price,not really walking distance to the historic or business areas so you need some sort of transportation,overall we enjoyed our trip

The unit is beautiful and conveniently located to most things. The beds could have been more comfortable and there was some pre-existing damage to the unit but overall a very enjoyable stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Perfect for my family reunion

This vacation was for my grown children and myself. We all had our own rooms, bathroom and spaces for all of us together. We loved the balcony and porch and the grill. Wonderful place to be together!

We recently stayed at this cottage on Jekyll Island and unfortunately were disappointed with the upkeep. The location and cottage itself have a lot of potential and could truly be a wonderful place to stay, but it seems like maintenance and cleanliness have been overlooked.The pots and pans in the kitchen were in very poor condition and difficult to use, which made cooking frustrating. We also found the bedding did not seem clean upon arrival, which was especially disappointing and uncomfortable.With better attention to cleanliness and replacing some basic household items, this property could easily provide a much better guest experience. Jekyll Island is beautiful, and we just wish the cottage had been cared for a little better.

Cousins Weekend

What a beautiful condo! The community is also beautiful and it is easy to walk to the pool or beach. We had everything we needed for a great girls weekend and were very comfortable.

Great Stay

Our family enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is great and the pool was beautiful! Property was clean and modern. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. We will definitely be back!

Jekyll trip

We always love coming to Jekyll. Liked our stay at the Garden Cottages. We didn’t have a beach view at the one we booked, so next time will try for a better view. Thank you.

Great house overall. Didn’t actually have beach view. Pool was great. Local shops and restaurants were fantastic and close. Highly recommend The Beachhouse restaurant for dinner. Decor needs a little updating. Only two bedrooms had tv’s.

Great, roomy condo

We really enjoyed our stay at this spacious condo. Although there is not really beach access per se, the water is nearby as are great walking beaches and the bike trail is right outside. Overall it is well-equipped, although there were only 2 coffee cups so be sure to bring your own! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful

We loved our stay here. Beautiful community with a great pool. House is very nice and clean. Could use some hangers in the closets and trash cans in a few of the bathrooms. Other than that, no complaints

Great stay - property and location were exactly what we needed

This property was very nice and well maintained! The location was perfect with beach access close by! We were able to enjoy the island as well as grill at the cottage to enjoy college football on Saturday afternoon! The rental process was easy and any questions we had were quickly responded to. We will be back!

Brand new cottage in a convenient location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this garden cottage for a week! We were very close to the beach access and it was easy to walk to the pool. We were within a 10 minute drive of anything we wanted to see on the island. It's a very modern home with everything you could need for a comfortable and fun vacation. We enjoyed lounging in the living room and cooking in the kitchen when we weren't at the beach/pool or exploring the island. When we arrived, there was an odor on the couch from the previous guests, and the housekeeping staff took care of it for us very quickly. As far as issues: It would have been helpful if they had provided more hangers - there were only a handful in the whole house. Additionally, the dresser in one of the upstairs rooms tipped forward, which would be dangerous if you had a very small child with you. The community pool seems to be heated and we would have liked it to be a bit cooler - on super hot July days, it just wasn't very refreshing to swim in a lukewarm pool. Other than those few things, we absolutely loved this cottage/community and would definitely come again!

Great Jekyll Location

Comfortable and spacious Jekyll home. Nice layout and plenty of room for our family. Short drive to wonderful Jekyll beach parks or use the neighborhood beach access. We loved the neighborhood pool as another option. Like most VRBO rentals, bring your extra paper products and supplies.

Cottages at Jekyll Island for the Win!

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Cottages at Jekyll Island and couldn’t have been more pleased! The place was large enough for our family of 4 with each one of us having our own personal space/bathroom. The cottage was easy to locate and check-in process was seamless. The house was clean. The kitchen could use a few more staples, but otherwise we had an amazing time.

Just as advertised!

This is an airy, roomy, well-appointed home. There is plenty of room for two adults and two children. Everything we needed was readily available. The check-in and -out procedures are clear and easy to follow. Communication with Parker, before, during and after our stay, was great! Good job. We had fun!
