This hotel was mediocre at best. The tv was facing the left side of the room and could not be turned toward the bed so you could actually see it. When watching from the bed you could not read subtitles because of the angle of the tv in relation to the bed. You could sit on the sofa and watch. The air conditioner was dreadful. It never got below 70 and the room was stuffy. I finally asked for a box fan and they gave it to me. We paid a lot for the room and would have expected more of a luxury feel. The staff was not friendly at all, just in of the mill. The housekeeper was very kind and pleasant, always smiling. When I needed to ask for coffee she was pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed Jekyll Island, but we made a mistake using Expedia instead of booking directly through the hotel. Lesson learned. The free parking was adequate and convenient.
