"Beautiful historical place and building. You can feel the history behind. The furniture is nice and well restored. The room is comfortable. There is a tavern next and we had dinner and good local beers. The breakfast was amazing: you can choose the food and it is prepared especially for you. The woman was very nice and served us in a beautiful dining room. We loved the stay. "

"In general the stay was wonderful and breakfast was delicious. The only thing was that Expedia needs to specify at the beginning that room #4, #5 and #6 share bathroom. This information should come more clear before anyone books. We had to pay a bit more in order to have another room with a private bathroom. "

"I cannot say enough good things about AWOL Stowe! I was visiting Stowe (and Vermont) for the first time for a short birthday trip. I stayed in the "1 King Bed Cabin" and it was SO dreamy - a little individual hotel room that was so cozy. It was nice to not share walls with neighbors, while also still feeling safe as there is plenty of people around. The staff also left a wonderful little carepackage in my room with birthday wishes. And the lobby of the hotel was exceptionally cozy and aesthetic....
