Mountain Views + Hot Tub | Quiet Cabin Retreat - Hidden Haven

Welcome to @hiddenhavenco—our modern yet woodsy chalet with expansive mountain views on 3.5 acres! At nearly 1,800 square feet, this getaway cabin is roomy and has all the amenities you need to make yourself right at home. :)

For the outdoor folk:
- 50 mins from skiing (Breckenridge)
- 1 hour from whitewater rafting
- Minutes from all kinds of hiking
- 20 mins from fishing (Tarryall Reservoir)
- Visit Observatory Rock, hike the French Pass Trailhead, or explore Spinney Mountain State Park.

Tucked in the middle of a grove of aspen and pine trees, this secluded mountain cabin greets you with a warm `hello!`

The home is furnished with one king-size Tuft & Needle memory foam bed in the primary bedroom, and one queen-size bed in the downstairs bedroom. Please keep in mind this cabin is a bit remote (25-30 minutes to the nearest town, restaurant, gas station, etc.) and sits at an elevation nearly 10,000 feet.

Inside the kitchen, you`ll find all the silverware, pots, pans, and plates you need to pretend like you’re going to cook yourself dinner from scratch! We`ve also got some basic spices and olive oil on hand for you.

The loft is furnished with a nice flat-screen 50` TV with a soundbar, wireless subwoofer, and Roku streaming device so you`ll be able to Netflix (or Disney+, or Hulu, or YouTube TV) and chill with friends and family.

We also now have Starlink satellite internet with blazing fast speeds! (Thanks Elon.)

In terms of amenities, we`ve got you covered too! You`ll have access to all the important things like: An iron, blow dryer, towels, soap, paper towels, oxygen (mostly) and more. But seriously, if you want some oxygen, you can pick up some cans at Prather`s Market in Fairplay.

We`ve also recently added some fun games to the garage! We have:
- Pop-a-Shot for basketball duels or solo show-offs
- A foosball table, and...
- A dart board.

The cabin is so perfect, you`ll want to stay forever. We`ve had guests ask. Just kidding. (But seriously.)

You`ll have the entire chalet to yourself! It sits on 3.5 acres and there`s rolling hills out the expansive front windows. The garage is slowly being converted into a game room. :)

While I won`t be available in person, I am just a phone call away!

4-wheel drive is REQUIRED from October through April each year. It can snow a lot out here and our driveway is steep. The county roads out here are dirt, so plan to drive a car that`s not afraid to get dirty (or bounce around at times).

Given how far outside the city the cabin is, cell service can be spotty (or non-existent depending on your provider). Internet speed is modest and can comfortably stream a few movies at once, but don`t expect to host a massive gaming tournament on site.

Our driveway is steep! 4-wheel drive is required from October-April, but it wouldn`t hurt to have it all year round, just in case.

The cabin runs on septic, so only toilet paper can be flushed. Please and thank you.

The cabin is right on the property line next to the neighbor. Please be cognizant of noise when outside and don`t wander into the neighbor`s treed backyard as it`s not fenced or completely obvious where the property line is.

We provide starter consumables such as toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and coffee. If supplies are not sufficient, additional items are available at nearby stores. For other important notes, see the House Rules section...
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS WHATSOEVER. This will result in an IMMEDIATE cancellation of your reservation with NO refund.

We run on septic. Please only flush toilet paper and NOTHING else. If the septic clogs during your stay, a fee will be assessed to have a plumber come and make repairs.

This is a NO shoes house (especially in the snowy winter season). All shoes must be taken off at entry. There is a $10 fee per carpet/rug stain left in the home. Please understand this takes A LOT of extra time to clean.

**Important** Please make sure you read and comply with these rules:

NO SMOKING IN THE CHALET AT ALL
NO Pets of any kind, no exceptions
NO Excessive guests
NO Mailing Packages to the home
NO PARTYING of any kind inside or on the property. Please respect the community. Noise level MUST BE MINIMAL after 10pm! Violation of the noise/party rule will result in the police being called, termination of your reservation, and the security deposit retained. There are nearby neighbors and we want to respect the peace of the community! Thank you.
The following are prohibited by county regulations: campfires and the use of portable outdoor charcoal grills, outdoor fireplaces, or any other ember-producing equipment; shooting of weapons for recreation; and the use of ATVs and other non-licensed vehicles on County roads.
