Great location for us

We had stayed here several years ago.We enjoy the close location to the river.And the nice rear porches. The driveway was a little steep, but it did not bother us.Great place to get away.

Loved our stay at the Lazy Dog Cabin. So did our dogs!! Very nice cabin for a long weekend. We love this area so much!! We will definitely be back

Beautiful view

Beautiful view from the deck. Cabin was great and well appointed. Perfect area for what we wanted to do. Having a fenced area for the dog was so convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

It's a doggie dog world!!

Very nice property! We did not have dogs with us, but it looks like a nice place for dogs since they have the dog run outside. very pleasant stay and close to some cool things like the state park and the New River kayak and tubing outfitters.

Perfect home for a multi family vacation. Great views and plenty of space. Bring movies, limited TV channels and they do have a Keurig.

Christmas mini vacation

Everything was very nice and clean. But it was so far out from everything. And the master bedroom didn't have a TV☹️ but over all it was very nice and comfortable!💖 I definitely want to go back in the spring or fall!!!

Family Christmas Tree Vacation

Definitely loved our home away from home to get our Christmas tree at Frostys in Jefferson. Only complaint was not enough Kleenex’s on each floor and definitely not enough lights outside. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Coming back to this one.

Heat and air

Seems to be issues with the up and downstairs thermostat. Comfortable upstairs and freezing downstairs. Nice place other than that. Talk to the stay blue ridge folks they seemed not to want send anybody out to look at.

The cabin's location was very scenic and it had a very nice view of the mountains. We really enjoyed Ashe County. There were nearby restaurants and grocery stores. Driving to Boone was very easy. The cabin was spacious. However, we were quite disappointed in the condition of the property and would not stay there again. We repeatedly lost our TV reception. The chairs on the upper deck were very uncomfortable. The sofa on the lower deck was falling apart. The refrigerator water dispenser didn't work. The kitchen sink leaked. There was a continuous problem of lights flickering. And no cleaning products were available other than a small bottle of dish detergent that was partially full which ran out. We had to go out and buy several different products as we were staying for almost 2 weeks. The enclosed area for the dogs was quite steep and uneven which made it difficult to clean up after the dogs.

Better than expected

This was the perfect getaway. We were looking for peace & quiet, and privacy. I was a little concerned to hear it was in a neighborhood & not isolated, but I didn't need to be. It's a very quiet, gated community and the other cabins are not on top of you. Very quiet! The only noise we heard was the occasional sounds of people enjoying the river below during the day. The cabin was clean and spacious. There was an issue with the TV not working, but management had it replaced a day later. The accommodation for dogs was unbelievable! The fenced in yard was something I never thought I'd see in a cabin and was SO appreciated when taking the dogs out during the night! The separate kennel room was a great "safe space" to keep them when we needed to leave them unattended. The views off the back porch are wonderful, from the hot tub they're even better! Loved it and highly recommend it!

Great home and view. Fully equipped. If you have a pet, this is place to stay. They had a room set up specifically for pets.

Wonderful time

We’re amazing got here. The house is super cozy, and the manager so friendly. We have a good time. Just make sure you have all the equipment in case of a snowstorm.

Great for the fam and for the family dog!

We gathered for a family weekend to have some time together before my daughter left for graduate school abroad. The house was very comfortable for our group of 7 adults, and great for traveling with a dog.

Everything we wanted!

This place was just perfect! Everything was exactly what we wanted and needed. Great location - easy jumping off points for lots of different fun activities. Plenty of room to spread out. The back deck was a lovely place to relax. And my kids LOVED all the doggie decor :)
