"It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist. We had numerous calls trying to get someone to help us and everyone informed us they couldn’t help us until 4 o’clock when we could use a code that would be emailed to us privately to get into the hotel. "The history of the "Alcohol plant" was interesting. The staff were friendly & helpful. It is an older building--so no air conditioning. The view was excellent. We found the room to be clean & in good condition. It was a good value & exellent location; however if you are looking for luxury--this may not be the right choice for you."

"This hotel has very little going for it. The room is substandard. It was clean (except for one sticky table), but old furniture can only get so clean. One chair was horribly stained. The property is substandard. The restaurant had a great hamburger. Check in took a long time because the person in charge at the bar was outside making a phone call. (You check in at the bar). "It was beautiful! View outstanding. The pictures you have need to be updated. The outside looks nothing like the photos. Overgrown- weeds by the front door area and so much sand. Cliff we can tell has been slowly eroding. Next door the neighbors are loosing their yard. Your yard the fence dangerous. I would not have any children in yard. grassy and things including old tables and wire fencing laying around. Deck falling apart. Lots of sand- we understand but none cleaned up. Bbq horrible even...
