Another great weekend

Great little stay
Great location, very peaceful in the woods and 25 min from trails & lake placid with all the basic amenities you need….very responsive host too. I appreciated the large comfy sofa & tv after a day of hiking. Fire pit was pretty awesome to have too (suggest you bring your own chairs) and we got wood from the grocery store nearby. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed which too soft for our liking and also the spiders/bugs in the chalet which freaked me out. We had a great weekend exploring the trails in the area!

Another fantastic weekend
This is our fourth time staying at this location. We fell in love with it on our first visit and look forward to visiting again soon. The property is clean and well maintained. We never have to worry that it will meet our expectations.

Super host
Nice cabin in the woods. Kitchen stacked well and fridge is full size. Half way through our visit there was a state power outage. Host arranged for alternative lodging with no extra cost. Really appreciate the attention and responsiveness.

Great host and property
This property was a perfect size for a 4 person snowboard trip. Everything was as described and the speed of the responses from the host was crazy even late at night! Short drive to the mountain and everything went as planned. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Birthday getaway to the mountains
My partner and I had plans to visit whiteface mountain and lake placid for a long weekend but wanted to stay somewhere a bit further out. Everything was exactly as promised. There were other visitors staying on the other side and we couldn’t hear them at all. We loved the cleanliness of the property while still getting to enjoy the natural beauty of the ADKs. We would definitely stay again!

Melissa was a superb host. The chalet is in an excellent location, close to the best hiking (and skiing) in the Adirondacks. The chalet was well outfitted with great appliances, A/C and an extra large water heater. Very clean and comfortable. Smart TV…if you run out of things to do. Very thankful to host Melissa for a late checkout. On our next family visit to the Adirondacks, we will most definitely stay here!

Sanctuary in the woods
First, the experience was amazing from start to finish. The owners were very clear about check-in, check-out, and everything during our stay. They even had little notes so you don’t have to go searching for information. I stayed there with my daughter for a couple of nights so she could experience the beauty of the area. The loft was comfortable with plenty space for us. The couches were large and comfy. I can see myself staying here with friends to ski in the winter. This makes having a dryer even more exciting so you never have to ski in damp clothes from the snowy day before!! The kitchen had everything you could need and two of us were able to cook together without getting in each other’s way. We unfortunately didn’t get to use the fire pit, because Mother Nature didn’t cooperate. Besides the comfort, we enjoyed the peace and beauty of the location most! Can’t wait to return.

Great Self-care Weekend Getaway
This property was exactly as described. Furnishings were clean, very comfortable, warm, and spacious. This rental would be perfect for a couple or solo like me. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Bring your coffee and such. Hot water runs out quickly so keep your showers short. Everything was wonderful. Proximity to trails and to Lake Placid and other mountain towns for more touristy activities, but further out into the North Country for those more interested in quiet retreats. The deck and fire pit are perfect for evening mulled ciders around the fire. I'll definitely be renting here again!

The hot water comment is a new one for us so we are looking into that right away as you definitely should have had ample water for a single person (I myself enjoy long hot showers there). Beautiful surroundings
Close to many popular attractions- 5 minutes from Whiteface mountain, 15 from Lake Placid). Well stocked, great communication with owners. People staying at Main Chalet didn't disturb us.

The house is nice and clean. The owners were very easy to communicate with. And the location is perfect for where we spent our daytime. Although it’s a bit too small for a family of 4 we had a nice time spending our weekend there. We would definitely book again!

This is our second time staying at Pine Loft. The place is exactly what we needed, to enjoy time away from the city. Surrounded by woods but not completely isolated, it is quiet and beautiful. The condo was clean and cozy. Highly recommended.

This was such a lovely, cozy place to stay! Very well maintained, and all the amenities were great (heating, kitchenette, tv, fire...) It was near hiking, lake placid, and Adirondack wildlife refuge. The owners were responsive, thorough, and quick in their communications. Would definitively stay there again.

The Pine Loft was exactly what we wanted for a long weekend away. Quiet, tucked away, but close to High Peaks hiking and Lake Placid. Updated bathroom was a nice surprise. The rest of the Pine Loft was cozy and provided the necessities. Perfect for a couple!

I had an amazing weekend! It's worth way more than the price, very clean and has everything you need. Slightly far from Lake Placid (25 min) but the drive is so beautiful so it's worth it. The main house was booked and they seemed to be partying but we could only hear them from the outside, not when we were inside so no problem.

Nice getaway
This was a nice little place to get away. It's not quite as isolated as I thought from the pictures, but it is set in a little wood and very quiet. Despite being a duplex, I barely noticed the group of guys next door at all. I'm not sure if that's due to good insolation or if they were just really chill. There were a couple hiccups because the information pages left for guests have incomplete and incorrect information, but I was able to figure a couple things out on my own and the host was quick to respond to my message about the wifi and get it straightened out. I agree with other reviewers that this is really only comfortable for one or two adults. If you are just using it as a crash pad four is doable, but if you're looking for a place for your family of four to get away from the same four walls you've been staring at for the last eight months, I recommend the other side of the building (Main Lodge). All in all, it was a nice weekend away and I would recommend it to others.

Perfect Lodge for avid hikers
This lodge was the perfect spot to rest in between our hikes. Very cozy and clean. Property owner was nearby in case we had any questions or concerns, but we didn't have any because everything was...well...perfect!

Would stay again!
We loved this rental! Very clean and stocked with just about everything you could need. It was a little farther outside of Lake Placid than we thought, about a 25 minute drive, but worth it. We would definitely stay here again!

Expectations Exceeded!
We loved our week at the Pineloft. Experience exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend. Peaceful location off the beaten path, but close enough to enjoy restaurants, entertainment and wildlife too!

Secluded getaway
Excellent location if you want to be close to all of your outdoor recreation locations. Whiteface, High Peaks, and much more are only a short drive from this cozy loft loft which has all of the amenities you will need for an amazing getaway in the mountains.

Short ADK getaway at the affordable Pine Loft!
Very clean and comfortable during our four night stay. We were "on the go" hiking and canoeing and this apartment was a great central location to the High Peaks, Lake Champlain, Ausable River, Lake Placid. Couches were comfortable for reading and lounging after a long day outside. Never turned on the TV, so it was a great vacation! Highly recommend for two people or a couple and children. Loved the loft bedroom and openness of the space, but privacy might be an issue if more than 2 people are sharing the space. Great value in the ADK's! Deer were right outside the door in the morning!
