Quick lane getaway

Great experience from beginning to end. Love all the little comfort touches around the entire property to make this feel just like home. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back again.

Great Lake break

Great location!

Very easy check-in. The host communicated with us the whole time. Pretty much have everything you need in the house. Great location on a nice cove, but deep water. Enjoy the canoe and kayaks. Could’ve asked for more.

Wonderful Place

This was an absolutely perfect spot for our family get away. We enjoyed all the house had to offer and the location as well. The host goes above and beyond for her guests. We will be back!!!

Great place for a family!

It was a great place to stay with family! There is a game room and they have toys, books, and some board games up stairs. Tracy was very quick to respond when I had questions! She was great! Loved our stay!

Amazing Lake house !

What a lovely experience at lake smith ! House was lovely with all the extra small touches to make you feel at home. From the s’mores and waffle bar to coffee on the patio enjoying the lake views our stay could not have been better. The host was quick with communication and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Will definitely stay here again.

Everything we wanted.

This property checked all of our boxes. It is off the main channel, few steps to the water, enough beds and baths for our family, activities for the children, close to a marina for gas, covered slip for boat, and plenty of parking. The provided amenities were also unbelievable. Anything that we forgot to bring was provided. What a great hostess Tracy is! When I called her twice with concerns, they were taken care of immediately. Thank you so much!!

Peaceful Family Time

We enjoyed our stay at The Red Canoe! It was just as described. It was far enough away for a quiet time and close enough to jump in the car and go to town. The owner had all kinds of special treats everywhere from super nightlights, to snacks and goodies for s’mores. The items available for kids were fabulous! The deck was perfect for morning coffee, the closeness to the lake was helpful, and the comfort of the home, priceless. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay any more.

Perfect!

Perfect little spot for 6 adults and 3 children. Midways between Duncan and Duskin marina by boat (about 8 mins each way) located in a quiet cove. Literal STEPS from the water. Hosts had a waffle bar, coffee bar, beach towels and snacks for us to use during our stay. It was very clean. Overall it was just wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely be back. The only “negative” thing I could say which isn’t even really negative is that if you are bringing small children (toddlers) I would say bring two of the cheap baby gates from Walmart. One for the back deck and one for the end of the stairs so you’re not constantly grabbing them from one of the two.

Wonderful week! We’ll be back for sure!

Beautiful location and view of the lake. So easy to get to. Very close to the grocery store. The house was very well set up for a family. The owners thought of everything from fans in the bedrooms, night lights, throw blankets, coffee etc. The set up on the lake made it so easy to get on to the lake. It’s very Easy to bring in your boat and no stairs to the water, which was fabulous! The cove is private and so quiet yet convenient to the marinas and not too busy for the kids to kayak in. The kids loved kayaking to the island and it made a great destination to get to. The owners were very responsive and the house was very clean and updated. The game room is a fun touch and entertaining for kids. There’s plenty of room and the bathrooms are very large and beautifully updated. . We will definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect!! The location/setting on the lake was wonderful! I've never stayed in a home that had so amenities and I don't think I've ever had a house that was so accommodating.I was there with my two adult daughters and their husbands along with three grandchildren. There was something for everyone to do. We never left from the time we got there to the time we left.I would highly recommend this home to everyone
