The host was very helpful and responded quickly to all questions or concerns I had. The house was very welcoming, comfortable and provided everything we needed. We now have a purchase of a game table we would like to make due to this incredible game room, my family enjoyed!!!
Love this game. It’s like shuffle board/curling on a table. We had a family tournament!!
Let’s play some pool!!
Enjoyed a day hiking in wonderful weather and beautiful scenery that God gave us.

Excellent stay at Buck Stop!! Home is beautiful and just as advertised!! Very clean and has everything you need!! Beds are very comfortable! Host was amazing and provided all details needed for the trip without me having to ask! Definitely a place to come to back and visit!!

We stayed at The Buck Stop for our daughter’s wedding. It was the perfect place for our big family! It was so beautiful this time of year, the leaves were amazing! So many amenities and everything was well stocked! The decor was absolutely beautiful! Our host was very friendly and attentive, quick to respond and very accommodating! Would definitely stay again!

The stay was great! Enjoy the house, the neighbors was amazing! Beautiful lake and golf course! So much to do in the area! I would 10/10 go back to the house again for a vacation! Only thing was the kitchen cabinets are old and a few were a hard to open but it didn’t stop us from having a great time!

Very spacious, clean and well-decorated home. It was surrounded by trees and felt like we were away from civilization. The game room was perfect, minus the lack of extension cord for the pinball machine. Plenty of space and comfy seating as well as beds. We were locked out for a bit with a rusted backup lock box and almost had to wait 90 minutes to get in until we found a way in. Everything else was great! Our group enjoyed our relaxing weekend and would love to go back!

The neighborhood was great. Loved the Jeep trail and waterfalls. The house was very nice and had everything that you needed. The only downside to our stay is that there was , no ice maker it took 10 minutes to get to the trash drop off. It was a bit further out than we wanted. But we all wanted to try the Big Canoe community, now I can that I have!

Our fridge broke, but the owners took care of it really quickly which was great! They are great communicators and there was lots of stuff to do in the area. A great place for a family vacation!

We had a great stay. We traveled with our two daughters and dog and the house had everything for a great week. The home is fully stocked and we had fun in the game room playing pool, shuffleboard, fussball and the kids favorite, the Pac-Man machine. We also used the hot tub a good bit. The area has plenty to do and we spent time golfing, playing tennis and hitting up the beach club and other swimming pools. I’d highly recommend this house to others and look forward to our next trip there.

Family Weekend

House was perfect! Kids loved it and so did all the adults. Pac Man was the favorite for my son and my daughter was in and out of the “kids pool” (hot tub) all day. We will definitely choose this house next time we visit Big Canoe.

Loved it!!

The house was beautiful, very clean and perfectly laid out for our party! We had 4 vehicles and there was ample parking. Our host was great with communication and our check in process was so easy. Wish we had been able to stay longer but will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area!

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Heads up, the path from the main gate is not for the faint hearted. The cabin itself is a masterpiece of rustic charm and modern comfort. The interior design is tasteful, with cozy furnishings and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The gas fireplace added a perfect touch of warmth on chilly evenings, and the large windows provided breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. The amenities were top-notch, from the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable bedding and luxurious bathroom. I appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the cabin, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. One of the highlights of our visit was seeing the beautiful sunrise and breathtaking lake immersing ourselves in nature. The cabin's location offers a perfect balance of tranquility and adventure, with plenty of opportunities for hiking, wildlife watching, and star-gazing. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. Please replace the arcade games. Overall, our experience at this beautiful cabin was nothing short of exceptional. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an outdoor adventure, I highly recommend this place for your next get away.

Big Canoe is Beautiful

Big Canoe exceeded my expectations! Morgan (the property manager) was amazing through the whole process. She reached out several times during our stay and made sure to lay out every detail from start to finish. The home was beautiful. There were a few bumps in the road while there but they fixed issues quickly. I fell in love with this area. It may be somewhere I would like to live one day. I definitely want to visit again soon!

From the check-in to checkout the process was great. The location was excellent with great views. The property was in great condition and clean. We will be renting those property again in the future and would recommend anyone who is looking for a getaway with 5 stars to checkout this property.

Great location. Stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies and infant furniture. Nice outdoor porch with a peaceful feel. Teen boys enjoyed the loft! Worked great for our 2 families: 2 adults and 1 teen boy and 1 tween girl, 2 adults and 1teen boy, 1 teen girl and a 15mos old. Enjoyed the Big canoe area! Fun jeep trails!

Amazing family getaway

Our week long trip was everything we could have hoped for. Weather was nice, house was spacious and well stocked, and amenities at Big Canoe were wonderful. The men golfed, we rented a boat for the day, went to the Beach Club twice, and were able to stay busy and active with kids ranging in age from 2-15. The property manager was easy accessible when we had a question and communication was top notch the entire time from putting our first payment down to the end of vacation. Would stay here again.
