Amazing Find!

This cabin was absolutely immaculate. Gorgeous views, plenty of space, gas fireplace on every level, and did I mention the gorgeous views?! Inside the cabin was beautiful and smelled freshly clean when we arrived. We were celebrating a bachelorette party with six girls and it was nice to have the space to put two girls on each level with our own bathrooms. Only suggestion would be to have some blinds or tinted windows maybe because the afternoon sun is killer in the main area and in the master in the morning , too. The sunset from the overlook is breathtaking. Will definitely be back to visit this gem! Thank you!

Stunning view

I have a handicap son I was thinking the big shower was downstairs for him and it was not. The fireplaces were shut so we couldn’t use them. The living room and dining room furniture was very used. The beds were very comfortable. The water pressure was not good. The driveway was step and hard to get up it. The view made up and did not disappoint us. Very quiet and relaxing!

Amazing Views!

Beautiful cabin with amazing views! Everything was clean and stocked with all of the necessities. The shuffleboard and air hockey were big hits with our family!

Dated, worn, and sparse furniture and rugs didn’t do this beautiful cabin justice. Porches and fireplaces were nice. Really dusty not very clean.

Wonderful cabin

This is such a fabulous cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is immaculate and the views are fantastic. Even though it rained during our stay, we still had a wonderful time. We will be back!

Spectacular setting - relaxing stay

Excellent stay! Enjoyed relaxing family time. Everything on site to cook meals. Great location for quiet time and rigorous walks. Subaru managed steep ascent to property. Spotted a large black bear on the way out. We'll be back! Bring your binoculars!

Spectacular views

It was a great place to stay the only issue was that Sunday morning the day of the wedding we had rented the cabin for. We woke up to no water and no water pressure. They did come a fix it but just not In time for us to get ready for said wedding. It’s a beautiful place would definitely rent again if the water issue was resolved!!

Nice home with great view

The view from the top of the mountain cannot be beat. The screened porch is really great. It is a very nice home. There is one strange negative. There is no door from the first floor bedroom to the bathroom. Totally open and since this bath opens into the main house for a bathroom, this is especially strange and undesirable. A door needs to be put between bedroom and bathroom. There is plenty of room for it and no reason not to add it. PLEASE ADD A DOOR!

A View from the Top

We travelled from Tampa by car and spent 10 days at this lovely retreat in June. The cabin is spotless, well appointed, and the view will take your breath away. We spent most of our time relaxing and watching the evening mist creep in through the mountain passes. We also visited nearby Amicalola Falls and discovered the many nearby wineries. The hot tub and downstairs grill provided a great end to the day. Did I mention the wineries? The driving instructions given to us take you through Ellijay to the rear gate of Georgian Highlands where the cabin is located. This is a long and winding road so be sure to print a map before you leave home. Also be sure to stop for groceries (Ingles) in Ellijay as there will be no quick trips to the store for things you forgot. There is also a front gate which will give you faster access to the towns of Talking Rock and Jasper where you will find lots of good restaurants and another Ingles. Did I mention the wineries? Fainting Goat Winery is located just 1/2 mile from the front gate on the highway. The view from the lawn is delightful as is the wine. And yes, they have goats there. And then there was the day the local bear wandered through the yard. She(?) didn't appear to be that interested in us as we watched from the main floor deck and we got lots a great pictures. The management company was immediately responsive to all of our questions and the unattended check-in was a breeze. Half way through our stay, Beth, from the management company stopped by to check up on us and see if we needed refills for soap, paper towels, or laundry detergent. She has everything in the back of her car and the visit was greatly appreciated. We will definitely return to this cabin in the future.
