"The cottage is really clean and decorated with a nice mountains theme. It’s a little small inside, but has lots of space outside to roam around, and the koi pond is relaxing to hang out by. The owners are very attentive to your needs and respond quickly to any issues. The only thing that would have made it even better would have been some footrests to go with the porch chairs. We will be back! "

"This was my second trip to this cabin, this time with a group of girlfriends. I absolutely love this cabin! It’s always clean and stocked with all of the essential cooking supplies (including a convenient way to buy firewood!). The rooms are comfortable, the living room is cozy, nights around the fire pit and mornings on the deck with coffee are perfect! It’s very close to all of the Ricketts Glen hikes - which is why I came back with the group! Our host Jessica was easy to communicate with, and...

"Thank you for sharing your beautiful mountain retreat with us! The thoughtful touches upon arrival made us feel so welcome. We loved exploring Ricketts Glen, the Switchback Trail, the creek, and ending our days with a cozy mountainside bonfire. The views were breathtaking, and our fur child had the best time too! "Beautiful view of the pond, was very relaxing to sit in front of the window and watch the sunset. Wonderful updated kitchen. Overall a great place to stay! The only thing we found a little tough to navigate was that since the fire pit is only a few feet from the pond and built into the hillside, it made it difficult to fit multiple people around it. "

"Prefect for a weekend away! The shack had everything we needed. The loft bedroom was a hit for our 7 year old. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. We were able to walk into town and also explored the old rail lines. West side deli was prefect to sit outside and eat lunch. Quick drive to Loyalsock for hiking. Make sure you pack warm, it gets chilly! Deck was great for a cup of coffee in the morning. Really a cool little spot especially if anyone in your family loves trains. "

"We enjoyed our stay very much and found this to be a perfect spot for a quick Labor Day Weekend getaway. Clean and cozy, with plenty of space for our family to spread out. "Thanks for sharing your welcoming cottage for our stay! We enjoyed kayaking and I took the rowboat out and caught a 20” LMB across the Lake from the decision city. The anchor rope broke as it was frayed at the end. Also the ants were very assertive in the kitchen until we put all food in the refrig.Best regards Tom and Sylvia"
