Hi there—I’m Dave, your host! Thanks so much for your interest in Sunny Acres, nestled right in the heart of the stunning Raystown Region. Since we opened in June 2022, every guest has given us glowing 5-star reviews.

Whether you’re looking for a short getaway or a longer stay, we’ve got something that fits your needs! Sunny Acres is open from November to April for both short and long-term rentals. We’re always happy to welcome hunters and fishermen.

LOCATION

Sunny Acres is conveniently located just off Route 26, the main road to everything in the Raystown Region.

Take a quick 1/4-mile walk to Raystown Lake, perfect for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing.

Just 2 miles to Aitch Boat Launch and Fishing Pier
Just a 5-mile drive to the Seven Points Recreation Area.

Seven Points offers a variety of services and activities, including the Visitors Center, the Allegrippis Trail System, 9 & 18 Basket Disc Golf and a boat launch.

In the summer, a swimming beach area with a concession stand, a giant floating tube, a boat launch, a marina, boat and jet ski rentals, dock rentals, a daily activities calendar, and informative lectures.

You’re also only a 25-minute drive to Lake Raystown Resort, where you can enjoy, a marina with boat launch, jet ski and dock rentals, a swimming area, and the Wild River Water Park. There are several State Parks nearby including my favorite, Trough Creek.

For some retail therapy, you can find a Walmart Super Center in just 15 minutes, or head downtown Huntingdon in 20 minutes to explore the Giant Grocery Store, restaurants, and other retail businesses, plus gas on Route 22.

Juniata College is a short drive away. Sunny Acres is a wonderful spot for a family visit or alumni events.
