Breathtaking

The online photos don't do it justice. The view is exquisite. It's easy to find and in a very convenient location, but very private and safe. Every morning we watched macaws, toucans, hummingbirds and many other species of birds while enjoying our coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean. We will definitely be back! Communication was on point from the beginning until the departure.. do yourself a favor and spend your time at this property.

Just Amazing

Every aspect of our week stay was amazing. Kelie, our host, was a 11 out of 10. Not only is she willing to impart her expertise of the area over her 25 years of living in CR but does so with a friendly demeanor. Hands down, epic fishing and not only did we catch 6 sailfish, yellowfin tuna, mahi and AJs, Kelie arranged it all and went with us. She put on a clinic of ‘how to hook sails’ and the icing on the cake was she made poke and tuna steaks with our catch. Simply the best. Do not hesitate to book. We will definitely be back. I could literally go on and on with how incredible La Casita is and the surrounding area. Thank you, Ty, Ty Kelie.

A bit of paradise

Amazing views, in the heart of our own little jungle, privacy, beauty, lovely dipping pool. We can't say enough of how much we enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and our host was wonderful.

First time in CR

Wonderful stay. We were there for a full week. Did a few day trips, but also relaxed at the property for several days: just eating, sleeping, reading, talking and listening to music. Beautiful location with a great view. Had everything we needed!

Paradise in the the foothills

Favorite place we’ve stayed in the region up to this point. Owners on site very helpful.. spectacular view real cute and cozy. Well laid out, great instructions really really liked the kitchen set up. The owner was very helpful in sharing with us. All the local must see less and she was spot on every time. Can’t wait till our next trip will definitely book at this exact same location again.. that’s the ultimate recommendation is saying that I will back it up with staying there again.

Thanksgiving stay

Perfect couple retreat. Tucan sightings during morning coffee. Quick drive dowm the hill for beach walks in Playa hermosa, or a dinner in Jaco. Kelie is an excellent host with a lot of local knowledge.

Perfect

It was a pleasure to stay at this property and Kelie could not have been a better host. She is very responsive and gives great suggestions if you tell her what activites you would like to do for the day. It would be a mistake to not come to La Casita for a romantic couples trip.

The Perfect Getaway

This property is beautiful. The view is amazing! Also the host is super friendly and responsive. She was sure to give us good recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the area. I couldn’t be happier with this place :)

Delightful

The property is very well located with fantastic views. It has a delightful cottage feel to it and was very well equipped. It was easy to find, with clear instructions on how to get there. Kelie was very quick to respond to any questions we had and she also provided many helpful tips for both the property and the local attractions. It is in a peaceful spot, not overlooked, but still close to many great beaches and restaurants. The property suits a couple looking for some where peaceful, but not too far from more lively areas. The locality is great on the beautiful coast south of Jaco and whilst a car is not essential, it is recommended to explore the many isolated beaches and national parks nearby. All in all we had a great time and will return.

Great location

Kelie’s Castia was perfect for myself and my husband. Easy to find, gated, and lovely. We used the plunge pool every late afternoon and would watch the macaws and toucans come by. Kelie was amazing to work with and had fabulous recommendations for us. Hope to be back soon!

Simply amazing!

Being able to stay at La Casita and work with Kelie feels like a gift! The house has everything a couple would need and more. It was impeccable, cozy, and the view is breathtaking. Kelie had wonderful recommendations for dining, adventure, and anything else that came with the vacation. We would love to return to Costa Rica in the future, and without a doubt would stay here.

Seclusion

La Casita was everything we were looking for. We loved the location and privacy it provided. It was spacious enough for the 2 of us. Beautiful property, was very comfortable bed, adequate kitchen. It was nice to have fresh eggs and grapefruit from Kelie. Kelie was a great host, available and provide any type of information that we needed. We went on some adventurous runs and hikes in the area.

Perfect casita!

This place is amazing!! We stayed 8 days and Kelie was so helpful throughout our stay. Before we arrived she sent so much helpful info and tips. She also provided a ton of suggestions for good restaurants and things to do, and even left us fresh fruit and brought us over eggs from her hens. The view is absolutely stunning, and it’s literally 5 minutes from the beach and restaurants. The house is super clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook meals. When we make our way back to CR, we would love to stay here again!

Relax!

Nice unit with a fantastic view. Being able to do some laundry was a true bonus! We didn't find any walking trails, though short strolls on the nearby roads provided some scenic views.

Best views , quiet and Great Host!

Me and my wife had a great time here the host Kelie was awesome . Very secure location felt very comfortable the whole time. Spotted some whales from the deck and morning birds and lizards. Highly recommended. Will not be disappointed!

This place is everything described and more. Beautiful expansive views. Amazing sunrise over the mountain. Fresh eggs and best fruit I’ve ever eaten! Very clean , good beds and linens. Kelie was awesome - very available by text anytime, booked our excursions for us and suggested places to eat. She even checked up on us to make sure we made it home afterwards - zip line, ATVs, white water rafting (my favorite) and Tortuga Island day trip. Such a great vacation place. I will go back!

Amazing vacation

With so many rental properties and locations in Costa Rica, it can be overwhelming to decide. The good news is you have found the best listing and don't need to keep searching. The house itself is nice, well kept with modern amenities. It sits up high on a quiet hillside, inside a gated entrance. The views are amazing, with lots of great bird sittings while sitting on the deck. What sets this property apart is the hostess Kelie. She is amazing. There are so much to do and see in the area that it is impossible to know what is worthwhile and what is a tourist trap. Kelie provides lots of local information, including great restaurant recommendations. She recommends activities, and will set up reservations for you while also getting a discount. She knows the best places to go and people to take you around. Inevitably some of your plans will fall apart due to weather or other unforeseen events - Kelie helps take care of all of that and rebook other activities on short notice, all with a positive attitude. Even with all she offers in terms of help, she also is very mindful to leave you alone to enjoy your vacation. We had an amazing vacation and highly recommend it to anyone else.

A Wonderful Costa Rican Adventure

La Casita and its host, Kelie, where the foundation of our wonderful trip to Costa Rica. Kelie was wonderful at helping us pre-plan our adventures ( ATV ride, white water rafting, Tortuga Island tour, etc..). She also provided great advice when she suggested that we use Eric's Transportation to her home instead of renting a car at the airport. This way we could just rent a car in Jaco instead of the stress of renting near the airport. La Casita was a wonderful little place to relax after an eventful day and the view from the plunge pool was amazing. We will recommend this home to our friends and hopefully we will be back again some day.
