First time in Costa Rica

Our condo was a complete surprise at how big it was. It was nicely situated on the ground floor with two sets of sliding patio doors to get out to the patio. Our view from the patio was that of lush shrubs and flowers. It was nice sitting on the patio and listen to the birds.While the condo is a little dated, it had everything we needed for our stay. (From plastic glasses to take to the pool to a broom and dustpan.) The pool area is very nice with a small wading pool and a jacuzzi pool. There are submerged bar stools to sit on while you visit with other residents.The office staff went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. They arranged day trips for us with pick up at the condo complex. They also arranged a return trip to San Jose for us to catch our flight back.The security guards are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces.The cleaning team left does a great job in keeping the the condo unit clean.The condo complex is conveniently located one block from shopping and restaurants and about 2 blocks from the beach. There is a grocery store right across the street.We will definitely keep Monte Carlo on our list if we visit Jaco again.

Nice stay in jaco

The condo staff, and the security guards were very helpful and very friendly. An easy walk to everything in town and the beach. The condo itself is very comfortable however, the only thing lacking was a well equipped kitchen. Things like steak, knives, baking pans, or baking sheets, and more than two bowls or coffee cups would’ve been nice. However overall the space was very comfortable clean and nice, and the staff was wonderful

Outstanding condos

Very friendly staff, grounds are beautiful with a very nice pool area. It’s very obvious thatChristian does an outstanding as property manager and very easy to work with. I highly recommend these condos.

We were unable to find the property via Waze or Garmin GPS with the listed address. When i attempted to contact the host via the listed phone number, i got a recording that said the number was no longer in service or disconnected and no longer in service. We got a room at a Marriot for the night.

Getaway relaxation.

Beautiful property. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants, and beach. Our particular unit obviously is not used by it's owner. Some attention needs to be paid to cooking/serving amenities and the unit could use some upgrading. The unit served us well and was very clean. The staff was very attentive to our needs and in a timely fashion. Overall a very good experience. Would book again but would request a unit that had been updated, even if the cost was more.

Nice place for family vacation

We stayed at Monte Carlo Condos for a month mid April - mid May 2021 and really enjoyed that place. Property is in good condition, clean and with good service. Good place for remote work.

Couldn’t have been better

This is a wonderful place in a great location. Everything we wanted or needed was a short walk, from beaches to restaurants to a market to a spa and even a great dentist. The staff is beyond description. We became fast friends. We will be back.

Great Place to Stay

This is my second time to stay at this property. While not on the beach (I'm not sure that is a minus), the property is fantastic. walking distance to the beach and main street Jaco. Great pool, excellent facilities. Quiet, yet family friendly and safe.

Huge condo

This is a large and clean condo with washer/dryer. Neighborhood isn't great for walking at night, but good security at condo and fine during the day.

Great place

Well maintained and clean grounds and condo, staff was courteous. The condo itself felt large, the bed in the master was huge. Place is completely equipped too, which was awesome. Walking distance to everything really but it's not in the main road, so it's less noisy. It's less than a block away from the main road though so very easy and fast to get to shops and restaurants. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great vacation spot. We'll be back!

It is a beautiful property, well-maintained and serviced. All was as described in the information on the web. Helpful staff, great access to the town and the beach. We found the condo very comfortable, clean and well-maintained. It is only 5 minutes walk to the main town of Jaco and the same to the beach. Sunsets there are unbelievably beautiful. The only minor inconveniences were the Wifi, which was occasionally slow due to traffic and capacity, and the cable TV with only three channels with any English. But good if you want to improve your Spanish! The on-site services: cleaners, security and general management were all excellent and very responsive to our needs and requests. The balconies are quite large and we spent early mornings and long evenings out there eating breakfast or dinner and chatting for hours in the warm. It is a family place and was generally quiet in the evenings. The kids were always having fun in the pool during the day. We met quite a few families who were there on their third or fourth visit and so the were obviously happy about the Monte Carlo. We had the best beach vacation ever there and we have been to many places around the world. Costa Rica is also a very beautiful country and devoid of all the tensions that you encounter these days in Mexico. Our only regret was leaving. We were there for a month and we could have stayed for 3 months happily.

Unit was perfect but you should make it clear while booking that you charge for guest!!

My only issue was the surprise $50per guest per visit charge! This should be stated prior to booking not when you arrive in Jaco at the Condo. Otherwise the unit was perfect!

Comfy and Family Friendly

Spacious condo about a 5 min walk to dining and ten minute walk to beach. Condo was well maintained, had great balcony with pool view and complex had a nice grill area by the pool. 24/7 security... my only complaint would be inconsistent WiFi and no ocean views.

Great location and accommodations

We stayed at the Monte Carlo condos for 5 nights. Our place was spacious, located close to the pool and town. It was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay at this condo again.
