Amazing house, and amazing attention.

I will start by remarking the great attention from Wade and Johan, they were extremely helpful with anything that we need and any special request that we may had. Now, the house is amazing, the pictures don't do justice of the views and how beautiful the house is, and it also have anything that you could need. Playa blanca is one of the most beautiful beaches in Puntarenas, and is only 1 minute away in car. We will definitely come back, and would recommend this house for anyone :)

HERMOSA VISTA Y TODAS LAS COMODIDADES CERCA DE LA PLAYA

La casa es muy bonita, con una hermosa vista y tiene todas la comodidades necesarias. Es un lugar muy seguro y playa blanca es la mejor de la zona. Wade es un excelente anfitrión, desde el primer momento estuvo pendiente y siempre accesible. Wade nos dejó hacer late check-out y eso hizo la diferencia, pues aprovechamos al máximo el último día y con niños se necesita tener horarios flexibles. Gracias!! La casa es muy limpia, las camas y almohadas súper confortables, A/C funcionan perfecto, buena presión de agua, la cocina súper completa, la piscina es suficiente para refrescarse y muy limpia. Fuimos con niños y es perfecta para la familia. La ubicación es muy buena, la playa está a 5 min. Sugieron alquilar carrito de golf si llevas niños para ir y venir de la playa. Definitivamente regresaremos!!

Wade was amazing. He helped us in every way imaginable, and much more. The house views were even better than the pictures, I wish you could see how the mountains wrap around the Gulf of Nicoya for a full 180 degree view of sea and mountains - it was a great surprise. We even saw three whales sipping coffee one morning from the pool patio. It was great having all of the luxuries of Punta Leonas at our disposal and the ability to talk the 10 or so minutes up and down the hilly roads to the best beach - Playa Blanca. Our whole family simply loved everything about it.

Great place, plenty of room , decks and view abound, helpful staff and owner, everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Wildlife out your back door, pool a great touch to cool down but beach close and waves fun. Rent a golf cart and easy travel. Herradura close great food store. Though small one close by. Pickleball courts in Jaco, easy and friendly. National parks close, 10 good beaches on property and within 30-35 min. Will find our way back again.

Amazing Adventures in Costa Rica

We will be back! We brought my elderly parents and family to Costa Rica for our family vacation. It was absolutely perfect in every aspect from early planning, to support in scheduling fun adventures, incredible beaches, and most importantly, a beautiful home stocked with everything you need. As soon as we booked the home, Wade reached out to provide important information including activities to consider, car rentals, airlines and introduce us to Johann, who manages the property. Prior to arriving we had already scheduled a few activities that were appropriate for my elderly parents. They also introduced me to Alex, who has tremendous knowledge of the ecosystem and animals, and we did several adventures with him and learned so much. I highly recommend working with Johann to schedule tours with Alex!Also, we spent some time on the beautiful beach of Playa Blanca. We were able to do some snorkeling there and it was very safe. The Punta Leona resort with pools, nature area and butterfly farm was family friendly and super fun!While the drive from the gate to the home is about 20 minutes, there is so much to do locally. A golf cart is recommended to get to and from a the pools and beach. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Wade, Johann, Rosa and Alex and they were always available to us to answer questions or provide recommendations on grocery locations, restaurants and activities. And the whole area is highly secure and safe. Thank you!

Ultimate Costa Rica Experience

If you want an authentic experience in Costa Rica, don't stay at a resort!! The only way to truly immerse yourself in a country is to stay in a community like this one in Punta Leona. You'll find yourself in a warm, carefree environment where people really do live the Pura Vida life!!! After staying in this home for 10 days, we can't wait to return. The owner, Wade & his entire crew go ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure you and your family have an enjoyable, magical time. Don't hesitate to take any and all recommendations from Johan!!! He'll set you up with everything from chef services to zip lining or a massage by the pool looking out at the Pacific!!!! I still may be an uptight American, but I left with a little pura vida in my heart. Must book!!! Just do it!!!

First Vacation in Costa Rica

Our stay at this beautiful house in Punta Leona was absolutely perfect! The location was ideal, offering stunning ocean views and being just a short 4-minute drive by golf cart or car to the beach. We felt very secure with security guards stationed at multiple points throughout the property. The house was impeccably clean, with ocean views from three of the rooms exactly as shown in the listing photos. We opted not to book the optional apartment and found the house spacious enough for our family of five. One of the highlights of our trip was renting a golf cart, which made getting around the Punta Leona property incredibly convenient. The private beach, Playa Blanca, was breathtaking and perfectly matched the beautiful scenery we envisioned for our Costa Rican getaway. A special shout-out to Wade and Johan for their exceptional assistance throughout our stay. Wade's recommendations and tips before our trip were incredibly helpful, and Johan's warm welcome upon arrival made us feel right at home. Johan also helped us book several excursions, each one a fantastic experience. I recommend waiting to book your trips until speaking with Johan for the best experience. If you're considering a stay in this area, I highly recommend putting this house at the top of your list. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way!

Great Location with Fantastic View from Infinity Pool

We had 3 couples, first trip to Costa Rica for all of us. This is such a beautiful place occupied by very friendly people, many speak English. We all highly recommend a visit here. The host Wade will communicate with you on WhatsApp A LOT! :) This is a good thing especially if its your first time to visit. I chatted with Wade several times before our trip and he provided several useful contacts and suggestions for things to do. Both Wade and his assistant, Johan who lives nearby were always available and responsive to messages. The house had plenty of space with amazing views of Punta Leona in every bedroom. When we were at the house we spent most of our time on the deck with refreshingly cold infinity pool also with an amazing view. Highly recommend renting a golf cart if staying here. We had a 6 passenger electric cart that was great for getting up and down the steep hill to an from the beaches and nearby restaurants. Playa Blanca is about a 3 minute cart ride and its the most beautiful. We spent most of our time there. It was an easy drive to Jaco Beach and to Vista Los Suenos Adventure Park.

Costa Rica is beautiful!

The resort was great as far as it had a lot to offer. Beaches are beautiful. We rented the golf carts which was a definite must! Kaly was our transportation to and from the airport as well as our trip to Manuel Antonio National Park and he was amazing and full of information. The house was nice but outdated, could used some touch ups or updated decor. The 4th bedroom was very small, it suited our 16 year old but a couple it would not work for. The microwave didn't work very well and neither did the stove, older appliances and probably need to be replaced. Same with the dishes, some just need to be thrown out. We enjoyed our stay and the house was nice, I feel with a little bit of touch ups it could be perfect. Wade was very helpful, it would be nice to have more information available without having to ask him all the time. Maybe a better map for getting around and what all is available, we had fun driving around and figuring it out so that wasn't bad. The beach was so incredible and the restaurant on the beach was great! Prices were not bad at all! Highly recommend getting food prior to getting to the resort.

good view in a house that needs refreshing

We enjoyed our recent stay at the house but would be remiss not to mention a few challenges we found. The house is within a gated community with a long road to the house. What we didn’t expect was a windy, steep, bumpy and dark-at-night road that took 20+ minutes from the main gate to the house—without traffic, traffic makes it longer. If you are at all hesitant to drive in tricky conditions, this would not be for you. If you want quick access to restaurants, shops or activities you need to consider this before booking. Our challenge with the drive out of the property meant we shifted to more meals and more time at the house. While fully stocked, we found some of the kitchen supplies needing replacement. For example, stained & dirty cutting boards, cooking tools, plastic cups & blender. There weren’t enough serving utensils or bowls. The outdoor patio furniture was only suitable for 5 people and the outdoor picnic tables were not appealing. The bedrooms didn’t offer closet space for our clothes, they were locked or full of stuff. We had to live out of suitcases for the week. The beach & pool club does not automatically come with the rental. We purchased bracelets, but at times parking and towels were challenged by the guards. Johan was not very helpful. The house was not entirely clean or stocked when we arrived. Pros include great A/C, strong WIFI & Playa Blanca. We rented a golf cart from Raquel. She was very helpful in setting it up and recommending people to us.

Had a tragedy that kept us from coming but Wade has went above and beyond for us. He has let us with no penalty fix everything to help us out and allow us to still come on our vacation. Helpful owner/Good home

Wade and Johan were very helpful in getting our stay organized and providing a good experience to our family. Johan was very responsive for any of our local needs and questions. He was also well connected to provide us contacts for different activities. Location was very scenic but its a drive up through hilly area to get there. It was 30 minutes from Jaco, so you could go out to eat in a city rather than punta leone. We used a chef for dinner one night, I would highly recommend that. Resort is a bit dated, but it does have the normal activities that a typical resort would have.

The owner did an outstanding job of letting us knows the inside deals and what to watch out for. The place was great, the view was great. Will definitely book again

This house is the perfect location

The property owner does an amazing job of making sure you get the most out of your stay. The house is just a few hundred meters from the best beach in the area. Jaco is a 12 minute drive from the entry into Punta Leona. This is where I will always stay when travelling with a larger group.

Great house with a fantastic view.

Nice location close to beach. Three bedrooms with full bath. Kitchen well equipped and separate dining area with a table for eight. Infinity pool. Each room had a deck area and separate large deck. Washer and dryer. Parking for car and gold cart.
