Stayed here for a week with another family (8 people total). Property was beautiful with plenty of local bird varieties for your viewing pleasure. Javier and his wife were very attentive and kept everything clean during the stay. Location was a 16 minutes up the mountain from Hermosa beach, but the drive was well worth the views and seclusion!

Beautiful Views and Excellent Service, With a Few Minor Drawbacks

This home offers breathtaking views from every angle and is surrounded by stunning landscaping. The private chef and attentive concierge service made the stay feel extra luxurious.A few things to note: the drive from the main road to the house takes about 20 minutes, the master shower had low water pressure, and the “master bed” is actually two separate queen beds that we pushed together. The living room could also use more seating for larger groups, and heating the hot tub came with an extra charge of 150 per day.Despite these small inconveniences, we had an incredible time and found everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Special thanks to David—he was incredibly helpful in planning and truly made the trip unforgettable!

Unforgettable

The only downside is the trip up the mountain but once you get there you are in paradise. You are at the top of Jaco and have some of the most incredible views (pictures don't do justice) you will ever have at a house you rent. Incredible staff attending to your every need. The private chef blew us away. Dave and the team were incredible. There are no words.

Memorable!

Words can’t describe how exceptional Lisa made our trip! The communication from the very first message, she made you feel comfortable and like you were never asking for too much! Instant friends. We were a group of 15 and she made sure all of my questions were answered We decided to take a monkey tour last minute, even though it was raining and Lisa and her team set it up without any issues! (Which isn’t easy with 15 people!). She also set up our ground transportation to and from SJO airport. Saving the best for last,(outside of Lisa, the house and the views!) is THE CHEF. Wow, simply wow! We hired him for our entire stay to cover breakfast lunch and dinner and the food was seriously 5-star in quality and presentation! We used his menu as a reference and then added specialty dishes to it and every detail was covered- down to the alcohol and birthdays cake! Fresh food, fruit, juices every single day. Talk about a trip of a lifetime!!! I saw chef in the kitchen literally 14 hours a day and always, always had a smile on his face. All of these things were because Lisa and her team make it their goal that you can relax and enjoy your stay. As an fyi, I am a planner and in the beginning I was trying to set things up myself- don’t do that- rely on their team- they proved to me they know best. Do NOT rent a car like I was going to- that’s the one and only thing…the roads leave a lot to be desired…but again, Lisa took care of all that! It’s been a week and I can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful Views but difficult to get to

The house was beautiful, the views are fantastic. Getting rides to and from the property cost us extra even when we booked excursions that included transportation. The house is outside of Jaco, closer to playa hermosa, and the drive to it is up a mountain on a dirt road that is not well maintained. Something to keep in mind if you’re renting a car. The beds in the guest cottage were two twins that didn’t really turn into a king, the mattresses were different heights. It was a huge deal for us, but makes sleeping as a couple difficult. We did request the hot tub be turned on, which is an extra cost of $150 per day, but the pump broke after the first night so that was a bummer. Several things, including the chef services and transportation setup by the house manager needed to be paid in cash, we struggled with getting money out of the atms while there, so I’d recommend bringing cash. Overall the stay was great and chef services were delicious.

Great Trip

The Villa was beautiful and exactly as advertised. Chef & Maid services were fantastic and everyone was incredibly nice (food was delicious). David, the concierge contact was there for whatever we needed and at all times of the day/night. Absolutley no complaints from any of the 12 visitors.

Wonderful House and Staff

We had a great time staying at this property. David, the chef, and housekeeping staff were the best. Every morning we woke up to a clean home, amazing views, and any help we needed the staff was super helpful whether it was with transportation, food, or laundry. The house has plenty of entertainment if you like staying in/pool day and around 15 mins away from Jaco beach. I highly recommend staying here.

We will be back!

The house and the view were beautiful. The infinity pool was a hit and gorgeous. Beds were cozy and the couple that lives on the property were always available. The best part was having David help us. He helped with tours, driver & chef. Everything ran so smoothly and even though we had to change our schedule a few times- it was no problem.

Amazing villa

As soon as I booked the place I received a call from David (property manager) who was available to answer all my questions. We needed a taxi at 4am and david picked up the phone and the taxi was at our door within 35 mins. David made our stay very pleasant by fulfilling our demand. David also hired chef for us. Chef Jose and his assistant Javiar, they cooked amazing food, very tasty and delicious. Also the house keeper Javier and Marina they were very good and by the time we woke up the house was spotless. We are at breakfast and the rooms are made and all Linens were replaced. We were 11 guys and they all loved the place and service. We all highly recommend this place. Great view and very calming. Also great hospitality.

Spectacular Place!!

We had a fanatic time in this place. It had plenty of rooms to easily accommodate 11 people—the best place to relax and have quality time with friends. Views of the Jaco beach and the mountain from the pool were spectacular. Overall amazing place. We want to extend the stay, but unfortunately, it was booked. We enjoyed the sunrise/set with the lovely birds' sound. David is a great manager; he took care of us as one of them and made this vacation a blast. Thanks a lot, David. We had a private Chef Gustavo & Hanna for the whole day. He prepared excellent food and great presentation. You have to try to see it. Special thanks to Mayra and Javier, one of the best. They made this place more homely and helped us with every request with a big smile. These folks are incredible people with good hearts. We would definitely visit again.

Great Find!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here! David, the house manager was very good. He accommodated our every need. He helped arrange for a chef to cook us fantastic breakfast every morning. He help to coordinate excursions. He helped arrange for drivers for our evening outings. He is truly a gem! The house is about 15-20 mins from Jaco, so it would be great if you can arrange for a driver, other than that it is fantastic!

Great spring break

First of all this property has the prettiest sunset and view I’ve seen ever! The pool and outdoor living is very nice. The house could use some love tho. Some of the walls and floors broads needs some touching up. But saying that the house was very clean and maid service everyday was a huge plus. I definitely would recommend the chef. His meals was excellent every time! Not having to cook or clean was our ideal vacation. It’s little challenging driving up the house so give yourself some extra time getting to the house. We would definitely recommend This property.

Absolutely beautiful adventures

First off I would like to give thanks to David and all the staff for support and arrangements. This house is beautifully nested between Jaco a Hermosa Beach with beautiful views of both beaches and the sunset is perfect. Getting to the can be a challenge so if your a new driver to mountains. I would recommend arriving during the day time. I took a large bus/van and made it just fine with a family of ten and luggage. I recommend hiring the chef because the food was absolutely amazing. However I will advise that you will pay for the service and the grocery bill for each meal that needs to be paid for at the end of each day and it's cash only. So plan for ATM run. Beautiful TICO home with Tucans, monkeys and views of the beach.
