Unfortunately, this stay didnt match the listing or expectations. Upon arrival, the unit had multiple issues that appeared to be from a previous renter, including piled up trash and damaged furniture at the curb, a door that didn’t lock, damaged furniture inside, and minimal basic household items. There were also multiple pest issues during the stay.Communication was inconsistent, particularly regarding the abrupt need for ID verification late our first night upon arriving, refundable deposit on top of pet deposit and cleaning fees, which were later disputed despite being disclosed as refundable. While communication was flexible and understanding at the beginning of the stay, the tone and expectations shifted significantly. Overall, the condition of the property and the handling of post-stay charges made this a stressful experience, especially when relocating temporarily to FL for healthcare. I would recommend confirming property condition, deposit terms very clearly before booking, and documenting everything.
