Our host answered our questions within minutes. We had trouble opening the door to the house. That being said, the place was comfortable and clean and just sweet. There were donuts waiting for us when we arrived and fresh roses in a vase. So nice. The location was perfect. My husband was at Mayo Clinic and I couldn't have asked for a better location. We just really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much.I have one suggestion that might improve the stay. There is only one mirror. Maybe put one more mirror in the spare bedroom. Other than that small inconvenience it was great.

We spent most of our time at the hospital so not too many pictures. But the good news is everything went wonderfully.

Great location. 1 block to beach and lots of restaraunts and bars within 5 blocks. Very dog friendly with fenced yard. My big negative is the “forced” insurance fee on top of the total fee.

Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of room. Quiet location. Dogs loved it. Pretty much had everything you would need. Lots of beach equipment, even a little cooler.

Perfect location. Could have walked to anything we needed. Beach was very peaceful. House had everything we could have possibly needed and was extremely pet friendly. Dog bed, bowls, fenced in back yard were perfect. Checkin amd checkout were a breeze. Host had the house beautifully decorated, beds were very comfortable. Coffee supplies, fresh flowers, and a sweet treat were waiting for us. Would highly recommend.

The location was great and the decor was really cute. My one recommendation would be to put a second mirror in one of the bedrooms. We had 4 people trying to get ready and it made it a little difficult. Thanks for the pretty flowers and muffins.

Twin Palms was a cute cottage with ample dining space and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach! The beach themed linens were a nice touch.

Delightful!

We had a great time! Our second time renting from this owner and she is a great decorator. She thought of everything - including dog towels and a cooler that can go to the beach. An easy 3 min walk to the beach.

Great location

Not only is the house pet friendly, the entire neighborhood is. We spent a few days there and got to know a few of the neighbors and their pets. The house has a private yard which is great. The house itself was clean, super homey and has a great layout.

Great place

This was the best VRBO I have stayed at. It was nicely furnished. The decor was in good taste. Very dog friendly even had a dog bed and towels. How cool was that. Quiet neighborhood and a block and a half to the beach. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend. I would definitely stay there again.

Loved it

We stayed here and our family stayed at the whale 2 bungalow. Perfect having them next door. Comfy place, liked the kitchen table for all of us. Good location. Chris is the perfect host.

Nice location but needs updates

This was a nice beach condo to stay in while attending TPC over the weekend, however as soon as got there the owner needed to fix something in the bathroom. Owner was extremely nice I just think those things should be handled before check in. The house really could benefit from updates outside and inside The outdoor curtains were so dirty and the hooks were so rusted I cut my finger on one. Also the house had a faint odor of smoke. Overall decent stay but probably won’t book again

No hot tub!

The property was in a perfect location! I loved it but it didn’t have a hot tub as advertised. Also we check all mattress for bed bugs & when we checked the twin beds there were not any mattress covers & bright yellow pee stains on them. Please change your mattress out and take down the hot tub!

Met All Expectations

Had a short stay for two (2) with our two (2) dogs. Property was extremely well maintained and very clean on arrival. Perfect property for those bringing dogs as back yard was fully fenced and secured. Only a 1/2 block walk to beach access which makes this property very beach friendly. Great location also within walking distance to many JAX beach restaurants and bars. All home furnishing are very well maintained and comfortable. Highly recommend this property for your next JAX beach stay.

Quiet get away

Very nice little beach house - very welcoming! We were gone most days for long visits to Mayo so it was nice coming back to our nice little beach get-away home .

Wonderful Little Beach Cottage

We had a wonderful time. The cottage is beautifully decorated. The host goes the extra mile by providing little amenities that mean a lot when you forget to bring something. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach and extra beach equipment is provided. The host was great with communicating with us for any issues. 10/10 would stay here and any of the other cottages again!

Nice Beach Getaway

After Hurricane Helene hit us in WNC, we decided to evacuate and head to Jacksonville. After a couple of days in a hotel, we booked a one week stay at Twin Palms. It had everything we were looking for--clean, comfortable, and just steps from the beach. Chris was extremely responsive and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. For anyone looking for the beach experience, Twin Palms is the place. We'll be back!
