Way to Old and Tired

OK, but requires much needed upgrades. Plumbing needs the most work. I guess management's idea of upgrade is to take the cap off the clean out pipe in the front yard and let the waste water overflow into the yard.

Nice view of gold course

Everything went very well. Beautiful travertine floors. And I did notice how comfortable all the chairs were. An odd thing to say, I know, but I spent a lot of time in villa.

Great Stay

Clean, well stocked unit! Great location on ground floor of the golf course. Rental company is fantastic-- always communicating and responding immediately. I highly recommend.

When we got there, there was plastic and tape on outside of every window. Painting building! Couldn't see outside for a day and a half! Had to switch tental! Seems like the management didn't know!

Everything You Need

We used to live on Amelia Island and recently returned for a quick visit. This villa was perfect and had everything we needed. Updated, clean, easy to get to, and quiet location. The beach is easy to get to on the other side of the resort or off property and the pool is around the corner. Will definitely recommend this villa and stay here when we visit again.

The HVAC intake filter to the air-handler, looked as if it had never been changed. We went off for the day, someone came in and changed the filter and vacuumed ALL the dark gray dust from around the air-handler. When we came in that night it smelled like mold. I had to wear a surgical mask all night & the next day until we could get out. My husband & I both suffer from Asthma. My husband & I both had to use our Albuterol the next day. I thought our stay was thru the 29th, but Destination Amelia made us pay for another night. My son is very up set because he said we should have left, went to another place to spend the night & sent Destination Amelia the bill. We had our cat with us and I was tired and didn't feel like getting on the phone and calling all over to try to find another place to stay.

Awesome experience

we absolutely loved our stay here on Amelia Island. The owners were extremely accommodating - we were evacuating Charleston to be a safe distance from Hurricane Florence and given a last minute booking, multiple pets and changes to the reservation because of our unexpected trip we couldn't have asked for a more accommodating host. Amelia Island itself is great and this property is clean, spacious and perfect for a getaway. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely AMAZING !

This place was absolutely amazing. The closed-in sunroom was so beautiful in the morning. The kitchen is fulling stocked which makes it so great to cook and everything is is perfect place. The house looks great and the beds and couches are super comfortable. Everything in the house was super clean and it was cozy. Definitely staying here again.

perfect spot for small family

Spent a week here in early June with a six-year old and a six-month old. Convenient to everything, and if being near a pool is more important than being near the beach, it's a no brainer. 5 minute drive to multiple beaches and 10 minutes to grocery. Would return.

Comfortable, nice getaway

Villa was nice, clean and comfortable. had an enjoyable time. Great food and shopping close by. Icemaker was not dropping ice and some light bulbs were out. Inside would benefit from light colors. Couch needs replacing.

Enjoyable week after the Hurricane!

We felt extremely lucky to have been able to stay at this Fairway Oaks condo after Hurricane Irma! The management company was simply amazing in communicating with us as to the conditions on the island. After some back and forth communications it was decided that it was ok for us to head on down to Amelia to enjoy a much needed get away. We had a week of total sunshine! It was an amazing week. The condo itself is very peaceful set back in the oaks on the golf course. It is very tastefully decorated and very clean. It is also nice and bright because of the sunroom that overlooks the golf course. We greatly appreciate any owner that allows us to bring our dog with us for our stay. Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach are such wonderful places to share your vacation with your dog. There are so many shaded walking paths, dog friendly beaches and dog friendly restaurants to enjoy...it is simply wonderful! Then only downside I would have to mention is that the couch and bed in the master bedroom definitely need to be replaced. They are extremely worn out but that being said, as a whole the condo is quite enjoyable!
