Property is in a great location and provides a good home base for a weekend in Jacksonville Beach. We had some unusual circumstances, but the host was quick to respond and help us address. We were not traveling with pets but this would be great for pets with the enclosed backyard.

Spring break trip with the little ones

House was perfect! We needed a pool for the little ones since the ocean was too cold and having the option for it to be heated was so nice! They had a blast!!! Beds were all very comfortable which is very rare when renting. And the ocean was very easy to get to from the house. John, the owner was very easy to commit with if you had any questions or problems. We would love to come back!

Girls trip

5 of us came for the Viking game. We had such a great time in the pool and hanging out on the patio area. It is in a great location, short walk to the beach for the beautiful sunrise. Good restaurants in the area. Both John and Sue were wonderful to deal with and easy check in. We had a wonderful 5 days here!

Spacious Home in a Great Location

Very roomy house - accommodated 7 adults, an infant, and a dog with no issues. Very short walk to the beach and a few good eating places. Got a lot of use out of the pool and the grill. Good communication from the host who provided a lot of information. The property manager was readily available and easy to work with. One thing to be away of - there are no toiletries in the house (bath soap, shampoo, body wash, etc. ) so be sure to bring your own. We would definitely rent this home again if we found ourselves in the area.

Amazing Experience

This home was everything we needed for our annual vacation for 12. It was walking distance to the beach and the pool was perfect for the kids as well as adults to relax after the exhausting beach days. The home was in a perfect location to multiple stores that we frequented. The owner was communicative before, during and after our stay. We would definitely stay in this home again.

Buyer beware of all the rules and requirements prior to renting this property. While the listing boast sleeps 15 people, the price per night listed is only for nine people with an additional nightly charge per each additional guest which increases the total rental fee for this property, above what others in the area charge. Family spring break

We were in a bind, with need for a last-minute house over spring break. John saved the day, getting the house ready for us with only 24 hrs notice. We had a family of 15, with lots of young children. The house was great. A nice, open living area, great fenced in yard and heated pool and easy walk to a beautiful beach. The house had everything we needed for a week's stay. John was very responsive with any questions and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities.

Fun Stay

This is a great no frills house. The owners communication was top notch! Very responsive, kind and welcoming. The livingroom area is bigger than you would think, great for large families. The location was easy to get to and from the beach. We drove to the beach and found instant parking. Drive is less than 2 minutes if traffic is light ( have to cross Main Street) House is walking distance to a great breakfast place. Property manager was responsive while onsite and met us there when we arrived.

Convenient Beach House for large family

Great house, close to the beach

This is a wonderful house for a group of guys on a fishing trip -- five bedrooms, tons of space, a nice pool, and a short walk to the beach and great restaurants, The only downside was that the bottom of the pool had not been cleaned for a while, the trash had not been emptied from one of the garbage cans, and some of the plates and utensils needed to be washed before we could use them.

Great time!

Jax beach was better than we expected!! Short drive and/or walk to beach.. just hate having to cross A1A with children. But house with great pool and amazing weather most of the time led to a great time had by all! Owner was very responsive to a few quirks initially. Overall, 2 thumbs up!! :)

Great house!

Great house, fabulous pool, convenient to just about anything and everything. We had such a great time in our week stay at the home. We brought the dogs with us and they had a blast with plenty of room to run and play in the private yard. If you have a big family, a bunch of kids or you travel with your pets then this is the house for you. Its 4 blocks away from the beach about a 5 minute walk which makes this place even better if your looking for peace and quiet. BEWARE This is a quiet neighborhood so if your looking to really let loose hoot and holler this may not be the rental your looking for. I was impressed at how quiet the neighborhood was. I obviously know from my experience so if your doing your homework on what to rent you should know this if your thinking of this place. I will absolutely stay here again.

Everything you need for a family vacation!

We spent a week at this property with our family and enjoyed every moment! The home itself is adorable, well-maintained, and spacious. Having two living rooms made it easy for kids and adults to enjoy their own entertainment at the same time (we set up video games in one room and movies/tv in the other). The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of utensils, pots/pans, etc., which made cooking for several guests a breeze. We all LOVED the beautiful pool that is right in the backyard, especially the kids. The weather was a little cool during our visit, so we paid the additional fee to have the pool heated, and it was worth every penny! Even the small details were covered, beach towels, board games, a high chair for our youngest guest, and plenty of blankets to curl up and watch tv with, to name a few. The location was also very convenient! The beach is within walking distance, but we chose to drive because you do have to cross a main highway to get there. There are several restaurants and stores also within walking distance or a short drive away. The property owner was easy to work with, available and attentive to any questions we had. We are happy with our choice to rent this home for our stay in Jacksonville!

Good Stay, Very difficult owner

As stated in a previous review - the house and location were fine, pool was great, but we were dealing with the owner up to an hour before check-in making the whole trip stressful. Communication was inconsistent, listing/emails/contract all have different information and requirements. Extremely difficult contracting process (we didn’t even see the agreement all of us were expected to sign until a day before check in!). I’m still not certain how the fees we paid add up since they were different all 3 places. For this reason, we won’t be back.

Overall the property was good and in a decent lication

Owner was very difficult to deal with but the property manager was easy to work with... House is dated and although it’s only 5 blocks to the beach you have to cross a very busy street so we usually drove. Outdoor area was nice around the pool
