Check-in was a breeze, had a small hiccup but Beth was very responsive and helped us gain access. Kitchen seemed very well equipped, however, we did not do a lot of cooking. Loved the roomy refrigerator! Convenient having Beach Bums across the street to grab a quick meal and an ice cream stand outside!Beds were all comfortable. Beach was great and access very convenient. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the tvs need updated to smart TVs. However for most people this is a low priority, while at the beach!Overall, don’t hesitate to rent here!

Great location for this duplex. On the ocean with easy access and great views. Fabulous pizza joint across the street. Linens were delivered and ready for us on arrival. To note, beds had to be made by us. I think that is normal but making the comment for others in case they do not know. Only wish that was missing was a large covered balcony for the rainy days. Owner was extremely responsive. Would stay here again.

Amazing experience overall. We book a rental at Top Sail every year for atleast two weeks during summer, and by far this was the best property we have lived in so far. Everyone from our kids to our parents had a great time.

Awesome condo! Thoroughly loved the location, enjoyed the direct beach access with the seating area on the dune, walked across the street to a good meal at Beach Bums. Beth was very nice and great communication! Highly recommend!

Perfect Family getaway

We stayed here in the off season and practically had the whole beach to ourselves! It was clean 10/10, mostly private (shared walkway) 10/10, and the location is absolutely perfect and across the street from a pizza shop 10/10!!! The kitchen was also fully stocked and that was absolutely the best part! Perfect for the whole family thank you so much!!!

Nice beachfront house on Topsail

Plenty of space for a crowd. Kitchen is well equipped. Great beach to walk. Easy access to the ocean. The surf made it nearly impossible for little kids or old grandmothers to actually get in the water. Not sure if it’s always like this, or it was storm related. The entire week was this way. Ocean was clean. No jellyfish.. only dolphin :)A thing I didn’t know before, is that while the linens are provided…. the guest has to make up all the beds. It is expected you strip the beds when you leave, but I’ve never had to make up the beds ahead of time. It wasn’t a vaca killer.. I’m just mentioning it. Beth was very responsive to the few questions we had.

Wonderful family get together

Totally enjoyed our time together my husband, sister from AC, adult children and adult grandchildren. The weather was beautiful most days so the boys loved spending time on the beach, surf casting. We shared time with my daughter who lives in Holly Ridge. Just perfect

Top notch stay.

We really enjoyed this house at the beach. Good beds and bedding, lots of extra homey touches. Each bedroom had its own deck. We ate at the handy place across the street and had fun exploring the area.

2024 Visit

Overall the stay was good. Close proximity to the beach was great and it was quiet during our stay. We did feel the bedroom furniture and bathroom fixtures could use updating. Appreciated the clean linen delivery upon our arrival.

A Breathe of Fresh Air

WOW! We were very happy with our stay! Beth was an outstanding communicator! The place was exactly as seen in the pictures! Very close to beach and private. Top Sail Island is the perfect spot, NO commercialization and very comfortable! Fishing was great and we slayed the shark tooth hunt. Yes we would definitely go back!

Great time at Dolphin Tales

My family of 5 and my sister’s family of 4 plus our dog all very much enjoyed our stay at Dolphin Tales. Beth was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and equipment. The bedrooms were spacious. The living area was comfy and had a nice selection of family games. The deck space offered a great view, and the beach was just steps away. The beach equipment closet was well stocked with boards, chairs, sand toys. The Pac-Man game was a big hit with our kids and husbands. We all had a great time and would Love to go back!

Perfect beach vacation

The house is beautiful, newly updated w brand new carpet in bedrooms. Layout is great for ocean viewing from kitchen, dining, living room & master bedroom. Just beautiful! Beach is narrow but widens a lot as tide goes out. Highly recommend

Vacation

The townhome location is great, and beautifully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen. Property owner is one of the best I’ve ever dealt with, very prompt to reply to any questions or concerns you may have. One of the best places to eat is located across the street.
