Pros - can't beat the location, right on the beach, views are amazing. Property management was very responsive when one of the hurricane shutters broke and sent a repair company within 1 business day.Cons - the house is overdue for some updates and maintenance. You can definitely see the wear and tear from being a rental. The dishwasher filter has certainly not been cleaned in a long time - all of the dishes had a funny smell after running a load. We were contacted a few times to see if they could send people in to do routine maintenance for the a/c, pest control, and water softener. I don't feel it's appropriate to do that during our stay - it can wait until between rentals. There was also the construction project that went on outside for a full week of our stay. We were given less than 48 hours notice while already there, that the HOA walkway to the beach right next to the unit was being demolished and rebuilt. Unfortunately that made it so we weren't able to sit outside during the day due to the construction noise. And finally - this is to no fault of the owner or property management, but the next door neighbors have a dog that would often bark all day!
