  • Esta casa adosada de Forest Ridge, recientemente renovada y decorada con estilo, es el lugar perfecto para descansar y disfrutar de unas relajantes vacaciones en la comodidad de un lugar que se siente como en casa. El histórico Fernandina es conocido por sus hermosos toldos de roble, sus playas de arena prístina y una variedad de cultura costera que se puede experimentar durante una estancia en este maravilloso refugio junto al mar.

    El primer piso cuenta con un amplio plano de planta abierto, diseñado como una gran sala grande que consta de una cocina totalmente equipada, un comedor y una sala de estar. Esta gran sala está revestida con azulejos de hermosa madera lavada de gris como azulejo y se acentúa perfectamente con una variedad de decoración costera. La cocina, recientemente renovada, cuenta con electrodomésticos nuevos, elegantes encimeras de cuarzo blanco, gabinetes blancos estilo shaker y asientos de taburete para dos. Centrado en el área del comedor hay una hermosa mesa alta de madera con capacidad para 4-6. Dos taburetes adicionales están ubicados en la isla justo al lado del área de comedor para un amplio espacio para comer.

    La sala de estar está decorada con un cómodo sofá gris oscuro en forma de L, una preciosa mesa de centro de madera, dos sillas y un televisor de pantalla plana grande. Justo al lado de la amplia sala de estar, a través de la puerta corredera encontrará un porche privado, a la sombra y aislado, ideal para tomarse un minuto para relajarse y disfrutar de la fresca brisa marina de la tarde. Toma una buena lectura y una copa de vino y disfruta de este espacio sombreado al máximo.

    Adyacente a la gran sala se encuentra el baño completo en la planta baja y el área de lavado. Acentuado con un encantador tocador de cuarzo y una hermosa ducha con azulejos, este baño ha sido completamente renovado recientemente. ¡La nueva lavadora y secadora apilables hacen que seguir con la lavandería sea muy fácil!

    Subiendo las escaleras, encontrará un dormitorio principal con amplios armarios, una cama doble y un televisor de pantalla plana. Debajo de la cama de matrimonio hay un colchón doble que se puede sacar para dormir más. Al otro lado del pasillo se encuentra el segundo dormitorio que consta de dos camas tamaño queen con una hermosa decoración costera y un televisor de pantalla plana grande montado en la pared. El nuevo baño en la planta superior renovado, convenientemente ubicado en el pasillo entre las dos habitaciones, cuenta con un magnífico combo de ducha / bañera de azulejos del metro, sentado junto a un tocador blanco con deslumbrante cuarzo blanco.

This was the perfect place for a Spring Break getaway. The property was clean. The only minor issue we had was with one of the tvs and maintenance came out and fixed it the same day. Highly recommended!

2024 Beach trip

Pictures didn't do it justice, was way nicer & roomier than we anticipated, quiet little community & everything around was super easy to navigate. Will definitely be visiting again

Thoroughly enjoyed it

Thoroughly enjoyed it, would definitely stay there again. Close to beach and restaurants. Pet friendly is a bonus. Biking was awesome on the Egan's Creek Greenway. Beaches and ocean were perfect.

Place was very clean and organized! Kitchen had everything that we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Communication was easy and very responsive. Good location to the beach, just short walk. Wash station/hose for the dog on property was convenient also.

Great vacay!

We love Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island and this was the absolute best location.10 minute walk to sunrise breakfast. 10 minute drive to downtown. 15 minute walk to Denucci's ice cream. Clean and spacious. Loved it!

Forest Ridge - AIG

This was a cozy space for us to land for a few days while visiting our grandkids. We even got to host them for a few sleepovers and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us! We only got to use the pool once as there were some issues with it during our stay. That was a little disappointing. Also, this is in an HOA and they have strict rules about leaving anything out on the deck, so no beach towels or swimsuits can be left out to dry. The parking, although ample, at least during our stay, was a little challenging. The unit has two assigned spaces but more than once there were other cars occupying those spaces so we had to park elsewhere. If you're laidback and don't mind minor inconveniences, you'll enjoy your stay :)

Comfortable

The property was as described. Updated finishes throughout the condo were nice. It was in a quiet neighborhood fairly close to public beach access. I must say, there's an unusually large crop of lizards and even saw a snake right outside our condo door. I could stay there again.

Adorable Beach Townhome

The beach was just a quick walk across the street and the townhome was perfect for our family of 4. It is nicely updated and spacious and cozy at the same time. The pool and tennis courts were right out our front door. We had everything we needed for a perfect beach getaway. The Amelia Island Getaway team members are so friendly and helpful! Highly recommended !!

Very nice condo

We found the condo to be very clean and we liked that the bedrooms are upstairs from the kitchen. The common area was definitely large enough for us and the other couple, which was great. Nice short walk to beautiful beach. Pool was freezing but nice to lay next to. Only downside is I had intentionally chosen a complex that had a tennis court, and there is a court but it is in awful condition and scary to play on - lots of cracks, big hole on the side. We also had asked if there is pickleball in the area and were told there is a court in the park on the island. In fact the condo complex has drawn lines for pickleball on one of the courts next to the pool, but you need a net. We could have brought one if we had known.

PCB it ain't and we were thankful

We desire a coastal beach experience. The moss on the trees, the slower pace, the beauty, and the history. Amelia fit our request. The walk to the beach was a little difficult for bad feet and hips and or folks with small children. The pool was clean and in the center for easy access. Wish there was more than one pool key allowed. Our rental was clean and had everything we needed.

Quiet Community

The community is very quiet and serene. The condo was exactly as advertised. A quick walk to the beach as it is only one block over. Close to dining and shopping. The kitchen was well equipped, and the “start-up” cleaning supplies were helpful. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The only negative (which wasn’t really a negative) is the Amazon TV in the living room is signed into the the owners Amazon account and does not allow you to change this. So we had to stick to cable, but again, not really a negative, just a little inconvenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Amelia Island Getaways stayed in contact and was very proactive. Making sure our stay was good. Very well stocked kitchen. Easy check in and checkout. Reasonably priced. Thanks for everything.

Great premise, some issues

Going from great to not so great after staying a week: 1. Location, distance to the beach, setup - perfect 2. Devices, appliances, utensils, silverware, pots and pans, TVs, outlets - perfect 3. Had to sign a separate rental agreement after paying VRBO - annoying 4. Outdoor furniture with leaves and dirt was left in the living room after we were assured all is checked and cleaned prior to our visit. It also did not have blankets for November stay after storm, had to ask and wait till next day. 5. Main sofa for sitting in the living room - really dirty and worn, had to cover to sit on it and very sunk in, causing back pain. 6. Carpet on the stairs is old with spots and needs replacing. 7. Net door to the balcony falls off, cannot use it. 8. The windows and seals are as old as the condo, cannot open without a risk of breaking something. 9. I needed to be able to work while being there. The internet was dropping off 10-15 times a day during video calls, including client ones. Not a great situation. All in all this condo has great bones, 90% of it is updated, well thought through and convenient. The remaining 10% need to be upgraded to get the perfect grade. Next time we will look elsewhere. Right now we are in another place where everything is perfect.

Great time

Beautiful property. Nice to have a few not normally provided items Kitchen well equipped. Neighborhood was quiet and very well maintained. Nice pool and playground. Community fire pit and grill. Fabulous area to explore. We loved old town Amelia Island. Check in and check out very easy with clear instructions. Questions were answered by return text. Thank you. We will be back.

Quick Spring Break with the girls!!

It was a great time and the house was absolutely wonderful. Quick walk to the beach. Great neighborhood and we felt so safe. Can’t wait to come back!!!
