Lauren met us on arrival, apartment was ready for our stay and had everything we needed. Great location with expansive beaches very close and accessible. Many great restaurant options with live music venues nearby. Lots of bike trails in the area.

Fernandina Beach vacation

The rental was nice and location was convenient for my needs. I liked that the beach access was basically across the street. Jerry was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The only downside was that I could hear people walking around upstairs.

Cute little place

This is a cute little place, very close to the beach. You have to walk across the street to get to the beach. But it is a very short walk. It didn't really bother of us at all. I stayed a week here with my 3 boys and we all had a blast.

Atlantic Ocean at our disposal

The property was exactly how it was described. Very spacious with two bedrooms. It had a nice living room area with kitchen and TVs in the living area and the bedroom. We walked across the street, turned left for 300 ft and then turned right and walked into the ocean. We definitely hope to be visiting again as it was magnificent.

Wonderful First Stay on Amelia Island

This property was exactly as advertised. It was clean, comfortable, and directly across the road from easy beach access. The owners went out of their way to be helpful to me as I enjoyed my first visit on Amelia Island. They even recommended an excellent doggy spa for my little dog to stay in as I visited Cumberland Island.

Fernandina Beach Cozy Apartment

The apartment is in the lower level of a home. It’s just across the street and a few steps to the beach. Owners have provided many touches -beach towels, tissues, adequate kitchen equipment, and vacuum- so that the unit is homey. Extremely comfortable bed. Great for couple or small family.

Good Times. First trip to Fernandina Beach.

My wife has high standards for cleanliness. She was pleasantly surprised, she even took a bath. She usually only showers when we are not home. Great location for access to the beach. Kitchen was well set up, everything we needed. Owners are awesome, the type of people I would want to have as friends,

Beach apartment great seaside community

Accurate description. Very clean, had everything we needed. They also provide 2 beach chairs, and beach towels. You do have to cross a busy road to walk the short distance to the public beach access. Was disappointed we could not access the fenced in back yard for our dog but understood owners concern for their own dogs and we respected this. We were just happy that our dog was welcomed. The beds were comfy, paper products provided, A/C worked great in the triple digit Florida heat, fluffy towels, and soft linens. The beach was soooo lovely, not crowded and family friendly. We spent the day doing the shops in the historic district. Recommend the Sandbar beachfront restaurant.

Wonderful location

We loved our stay with Jerry and Lauren. They live right upstairs but let us have our privacy! The place was very comfortable with everything that was needed to have a great stay. A little bonus you are across the street from the beach but it is very quiet! This isn't a party neighborhood if that is what you are looking for but if you want a quiet relaxing vacation--this is it! The bed in the master is very comfortable. Everything is clean and ready to go when you get there. We have been coming to Amelia Island for over 15 years and stayed up and down the beach area. This by far was the easiest most comfortable stay we have had. Jerry even can suggest great places to eat if you want to know where the locals go! Hopefully we can visit again soon.

Great Location and Host

Location was as advertised, there is a beach access directly across the street, and the facilities were comfortable and homey. The owners were very accommodating and really stayed out of the way. I look forward to trying to book again some time in the future.

A great place!

We lucked into this place! Located right across the road from the beach, with a beach access just 2 doors down, and close to good seafood restaurants. The fenced back yard was great since we have a small dog. Everything was clean and I suspect most of the furniture and appliances are new. Hosts generously supplied housekeeping supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. Hosts are a delightful young couple who live upstairs. We got along fine with them and our dog got along fine with their dogs - nothing not to like!

Amazing Location

This property was a great fit for us, and we enjoyed every minute. Jerry and Lauren are excellent hosts - accommodating and respectful. The apartment is well set up and you can eat in every day if you so choose. The house is truly a minute from the beach where you can walk for miles in either direction, and it's a short, comfortable walk to restaurants and services. Fernandina Beach is a lovely and relaxing vacation destination, and this apartment is in a perfect location- both for doing things on Amelia Island, and for day trips to multiple state parks plus places like St. Augustine, Cumberland Island, Jekyll Island, Daytona, Kennedy Space Center plus Jacksonville and Savannah. We highly recommend it!
