Stayed for 8 days with four adults and a large dog and can’t say enough good things about this home .Very comfortable inside with everything you might need in the kitchen,and the outdoor spaces were even better .Multiple seating areas sun or shade your choice .Close to everything in and around Jackson but very quiet.Did not want to leave

Great Ski House

We had a great time at Lori's house. It was a quick ride over to Black Mountain. The house was as described. Clean, cozy and well stocked. We would defiantly stay here again!

Amazing week

Tranquility and relaxation! The house is unique and beautiful. Clean!! The bed in the master is so comfortable. The location to restaurants and hiking is just right! Highly recommend. Lori is responsive and helpful.

Fabulous!

First time staying at this absolutely beautiful and whimsical property. Our trip consisted of my husband, myself, our 20 year old daughter and 14 year old pup. The house was perfect and we greatly enjoyed the decor. Lori was the perfect host! Thank you so much!

Wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at this property and Lori was a pleasure to work with! We loved the home, it’s sustainability and the beautiful surrounding landscaping. We also brought our pup, and Lori provided wonderful touches to making her stay wonderful too. This property is close to Jackson Falls, North Conway and Storyland. We loved our stay and will definitely be coming back!

Perfect place and great hosts. Highly recommended.

Definitely full of character. Beautiful house with unique design, decorated with interesting pieces throughout. Unbelievably comfortable with everything possibly needed in the kitchen. Lori is the nicest, most helpful host we’ve ever experienced. Looking forward to a return visit.

Warm and Inviting

My family had a wonderful time during our annual December trip to NH. We have stayed at many different places in the area but none as warm and inviting as this lovely home. The house was clean, modern and the decor was amazing. It was so inviting that we immediately felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door. The communication with the owners was seamless, the area so beautiful that we look forward to our next trip.

Fantastic property located next to Black Mountain. Close drive to North Conway Village, Story Land. Nice scenic drive to Mt. Washington or Santa's Village. Owner is easy to contact and very helpful. Unique and special mountain getaway!

Rain or shine this place makes great memories! Just returned from our week and start to finish it was terrific. Our family of 5 plus two more family members enjoyed every aspect of the home, inside and out. We definitely took advantage of bocce playing, Black Mtn horseback riding, and all the nearby swimming holes. Bunk beds were such a hit! Lori was so quick and helpful in her replies and in her travel planning tips. Thanks once again for our summer highlight and we would love to come back!

Perfect retreat

Lori’s house sat up on a hill overlooking Black Mountain across from Whitney’s inn. Everything was perfect with plenty of space and everything you could possibly need for your stay. She was very creative and detailed in her decorating ideas and decor. You could walk to Black mountain / Whitney’s inn and shovel hand pub for food and drinks. A quick ride down the road and you have other great dining options as well as the Jackson Falls. Definitely one of the best if not the best houses we have stayed in. We will only try and book her place from now on!

Truly excellent experience

My family and I had an amazing stay here. First and foremost, this is a place whose owners really care about it. The unique detail and decor throughout the house and the organization and care taken to equip and prepare it for guests are reflected in what a cool, one-of-kind place this is. My kids already miss the bunk beds and we hung out in a different spot every night. The owners are awesome; I got all kinds of great insight to help us make the most of our trip and they went above and beyond to make our stay even better than we could have expected. This is a great location if you want to ski Black Mountain, which has an amazing vibe and is really coming back. It’s basically right next door and when they run the awesome Shovel Handle lift it is literally right there. Also a good spot to ski Wildcat and Attitash out if, about 20 minutes to each.Theres a reason all the reviews of this house are extremely positive - theyre clearly doing something right and we couldn’t recommend it enough. Thanks for a great stay!

A fun unique retreat!

Our family of seven (mostly adults and one teenager) totally enjoyed our time at this fun home near Black Mountain! From the moment we arrived, we could see how much thought was put into the decor and functionality of this house. I think the entry was probably my favorite functional space because when you are traveling - especially during ski season - there is a lot of winter gear, so being able to have that space to put things as soon as you walk in is a huge bonus. An extra long bench that spans the entire large entryway was so helpful, with space under the bench, above the bench, coat hooks on the walls, a closet, mats, rugs, and a bathroom! With the two main bedrooms also on that entry level it was so much easier to Pack things up as well. The kitchen and living room on the top floor has a large open space that we enjoyed gathering in, cooking, sitting in front of the fireplace. As big as it is it was also very cozy and fun to look up at all of the great antiques. The homeowners definitely have a knack for displaying their collection. The basement was beautifully furnished as well, again a comfortable sectional, games, Laundry, etc. with the fun decor carried throughout. We utilized all of the sleeping areas and found the beds to be so comfortable! To top it all off, this house was one of the cleanest properties we have ever rented. My daughter lost one of her AirPods in the middle of the week and we literally searched high and low, under couches under mattresses couch cushions etc. Not one crumb or dust bunny was found! (The AirPod was found in the back corner under the couch, so you can imagine we had to dig deep!) Lori was great to communicate with, and check in/out was super easy. Jackson is our favorite area to stay in, so location for us was perfect. We have rented many properties over the years and we would absolutely choose to stay here again!

Right out of the gate, our experience with Lori and Steve was outstanding. The communication and return contact was second to none. Their home in Jackson is beautiful, cozy, very clean and the decor was welcoming and interesting. Their home was bright and warm, the appliances and kitchen utensils were top shelf. The home is located within a 1 minute walk to Black Mountain. The house made the reunion weekend of life long nursing school pals a complete success. We all would like to rent again in the future with our grandkids.
