Fantastic rental

This property was spot on with the description. The housekeeping was fantastic with multiple cleaning days during our week stay. We were also very thankful for our host meeting us at the resort to help check us in and show us around the unit. We would go back in a heartbeat!

An awesome ex

We had a delightful time staying at this facility. It was our second year to stay and it was as awesome this year as it was last year. The view from the 15th floor to the front is excellent. Looking down the beach and out across the ocean And the balcony on the back looking from the bedrooms looks across the golf course and the marina. Facilities are excellent and very comfortable. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking to have a quiet and wonderful time.

The condominium is as nice as we expected, except that it was much more spacious than we realized. Smaller rear balcony is useful to have when front balcony is in full sun. Air conditioning works well. I overlooked the fact that the snack back near the pool is actually a full service restaurant and bar offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. We used it often. Our site manager was Erick Montera. We failed to ask for all contact information like phone, text, and email. Make sure that you as questions may arise during your stay. We intentionally visited at the quiet time of early December and really enjoyed the lack of guests at this time. The staff are uniformly pleasant and helpful. We didn’t rent a car but used taxis and busses to get around. We only visited Zihuatanejo once for dinner so can’t give a review of that community. We had a lovely stay and would rent this condominium again in a second.

Wonderful location

This was my second time staying at the Bay View Grand Marina but my first in this unit in the South Tower. The location of the unit was perfect, and the cleanliness was a big welcome! From the moment we walked in, we were very impressed with the layout, the size, the decor, the little extras (bar, games, towels, soaps, etc.) and the view. Another unexpected perk was the unit had two cleanings scheduled during our stay. (I stayed in the North Tower back in February and we had to pay extra for the cleaning onsite.) The host was an added bonus. So courteous, considerate, and responsive with answering all my questions. This place was certainly a treat! We will definitely come back and stay here again!

The property was as stated. Bayview Grand Marina was great. The condo was not cleaned properly. We found numerous hairs in the baths. There was considerable sand on all the tile floors. The bedrooms and kitchen appliances were fine. The A/C above the kitchen ceiling was leaking water continuously causing constant mopping. The kitchen ceiling was severely damaged due to this water leak. So bad that it appeared to be leaking for several weeks if not months. When we reported the leaking to the property manager, she said it was just reported by the previous tenant but obviously that was not true.

Wonderful location

This condo building is in a great location, next to a golf course, marina, and ocean front. the pool and grounds are kept very clean all of the time. We had a few issues in the condo we stayed in, kitchen tap, toilet, and some cleanliness complaints. Some of which were fixed prior to our departure, some were not.

Great view, quiet location, lovely apartment

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The view is fantastic. Quieter location being 15 minute walk from the main Ixtapa area which we liked. Apartment had all the amenities needed with a really nice layout. Beds were super comfy. We had a few issues, mostly minor that were fixed by property management. One issue with the fridge that we had to work around. Note there are a couple different rules and costs for short term renters (less than 15 days I believe) such as gym usage, 300peso wrist band. More beach palapas would be nice as they get snapped up pretty early (like many other resorts in Mexico). I would rent this unit again but likely for a longer term.

We had a delightful time at this facility! The view was fantastic, the weather wonderful, the facility is beautiful and well furnished. The beach is flat and great for walking, the pools are great with a variety of options. We will certainly come again!

Beautiful property

Gorgeous property on a less traveled portion of the beach so more quiet. Lovely balcony views, pool and beach area. Restaurant on site was super convenient, affordable, good variety and great service. Kitchen was great but we just did coffee and snacks. The ONLY drawback was our unit’s towels and bedding were super old and needed replaced hopefully the owners will take care of that.

Amazing week at BVG!

We had an incredible week and overall experience in the condo. Everything was well-appointed and communication with Jackie and Erik was stellar. We loved the large balcony to watch the sunrise and the whales in the morning as well as the large living room to have a break from the sun. Between being able to cook our own meals, eat at the poolside restaurant or walk into town for dinner (or taxi into Zihuatanejo for 150 pesos), we had such a relaxing and affordable experience at BVG! The beach on this end of Ixtapa is much quieter than the other side which made it even more relaxing. We could walk down the beach for massages and parasailing but then come back for a more peaceful beach experience. Everything was truly paradise!

Lovely Experience!

The accommodations in the condo and at the complex are wonderful! Howard was very accommodating to our questions both before and during our stay. The condo complex is perfect in every way. The views, the food, the service, and the location. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and took advantage of the spa. We dined at the resort, the marina, and in town and didn’t mind the walk in the least. Howard arranges for cleaning service during your stay and she kept the place in great condition. He also arranged for onsite management to meet us upon arrival and show us around. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! We hope we can come again real soon!

The BVG marina is situated in a great spot. Very quiet and peaceful. Has two beautiful pools. The BVG has an excellent restaurant for breakfast and lunch and dinner. The prices are very reasonable. Wonderful stay at Bay View Grand Marina

We’ve just returned from our winter getaway and this property is amazing. This spacious condo is well equipped for everything, from cooking to children’s pool toys to super comfortable beds. The view is fabulous, we spent every morning and evening on the balcony. We loved the decor as well! The owner of the condo was very attentive to some small questions we had and promptly contacted his property manager to look after everything for us. Truly a winter paradise. We will be returning to this unit next year !
