I felt very safe there, the location is brilliant for other beauty spots like Salcombe and Totnes. Lukesland Gardens is worth a visit too. "The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav. The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door. "Wonderful place to stay. Though your sharing the pool/gym with others it wasn’t busy and didn’t have a ‘butlins’ feel. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was lots of extras if you needed them like blankets and a heater. "The hotel was exactly as described in photos. Clean, classy and very good value for money. We couldn’t hear any guests within property. Shower was powerful and nice and bathroom was clean. "The cottage was beautifully designed and furnished. In a beautiful location, we had the sea and rolling hills of the countryside right on our doorstep. Listening to the Tawny owls at night was amazing and the whole garden lit up by the moon. The village pub was very accommodating too serving great food. We unfortunately all fell victim to the flu so could not explore the area as much as had hoped, so we are definitely planning to return to this stunning part of the world. "

"I did ring Tina regarding a couple of things and she was pleased to get feed back. For example no blue bags to put dirty linen in . The cottage was decorated inside and out for Halloween and as older adults did not want to look at them inside the cottage didn't mind outside.
