I stayed here only for one night for an overnight transfer, not expecting much other than the hotel near the Blue Mosque, which I failed to visit the last time. It turned out to be that the stay here was the best memory I had in Istanbul - memorable with the help of wonderful Ali the Concierge. I will come back this year, Ali, no matter what! You opened up my mind and rekindled my passion for travel. But of course, I won't forget leaving the key with you next time I come back. Please excuse me for that...

The hotel is pretty close to the most famous mosques in Istanbul - Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and it is close the all the transport you will need to discover the city. The staff is perfect, my room was always clean and comfy when I got back from the tours, and Mr. 'Ali will make you feel at home. I have no words to describe my stay in this hotel, it was perfect and made my vacation trip unforgettable. I highly recommend this place.

My stay at hotel sultan hill was absolutely amazing. Great staff- especially Ali! I felt safe always, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was great, and the hotel services were made easy through the team. I would pay any price just to stay here again. Fabulous location. Unbelievable view of Blue Mosque from rooftop terrace. It is not a five-star hotel, so obviously not modernised and glamorous. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace is such an incredible space, but a bit dirty and unkept. It would be easily upgraded with a few potplants and umbrellas :) The breakfast area was lovely with a little outside garden.

A well located property right in the tourist area, around the corner from all the main attractions. Very easy walk to tram transport for access to other parts of the city. Room was adequate but small. Facilities were dated,but in saying this… we weren’t in our room often. Bed was too hard for me. Management were great, so helpful… especially Ali who speaks perfect English…thanks for a lovely couple of days

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The only recommendation to travellers is to bring a shower cap because the shower head is fixed The strength of the structure is undoubtedly the staff very helpful, friendly and ready to help you with any request. From phone cards to taxis, to tips on getting around the city. After a week we felt like in our own home. The view from the terrace is spectacular and in the evening and when you wake up, you can hear the adhan of the muezzin from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque: very exciting.

Good stay~
A quaint lodging in the heart of the old town. It is an old building but very well maintained. Right behind the Blue Mosque. Sofia, the museum, and the T1 stop are very close, so it's convenient. The main square with the obelisk is always guarded by the police so it is safe and very quiet at night. From the roof of this hotel you can see the sea and the roof of the Blue Mosque. The staff are also very friendly. The only downside is that the shower head in the bathroom is fixed, so it's inconvenient to have to wash your hair always.

The hotel is located by lots to see and do. The staff gave recommendations for restaurants and places to avoid that are traps for tourists. It was a wonderful local place to stay!

Excellent Hotel
This was a perfect location for sightseeing and access to transportation. The staff, especially Ally, went above and beyond in every way. The breakfast was great and we felt like both guests and family.

I stayed for one week at the Sultan Hill Hotel, we were a family of 6 people. I have to say it was one of best hotels I’ve stayed in thus far. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and hospitable, especially the owner Ali. The facilities were above expectation, including very good wifi and good cleaning service. Our rooms were cleaned to a very high standard every day and very good air conditioning. We had a tasty complementary breakfast everyday. The best feature is the location of the hotel, it is a 5 minute walk to Hagia Sophia and 10 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque, nearby to the grand bazar. You will be situated at the heart of Istanbul - this is a unbelievable deal for the price !!! Will definitely be visiting again.

Die Lage des Hotel's und die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse ist unschlagbar. Leider gibt es weder Sonnenschirme dort noch wird sie regelmäßig sauber gemacht. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt kann man das Hotel nicht empfehlen.

Enkelt hotell i ett läge mycket nära Blå Mosken, och andra sevärdheter i Sultanahmet. Servicen är god och personalen är hjälpsam. Standarden på rummen god utifrån prisbilden, men som ofta i Turkiet ganska små rum. Trevlig takterass. Frukosten serveras på källarplanet - är enkel men ok, fanns yogurt, flingor, kokt ägg, bröd, ost och grönsaker. Turkiskt kaffe eller omelett erbjöds mot låg extra avgift. Enda klagomålet på frukosten är styrkan på kaffet som med svenska mått är alldeles för svagt, med följden att de flesta i sällskapet drack Te till frukost.

Für Erwachsene und nicht länger als 3 Nächte kann man das hotel weiterempfehlen für einen längeren Aufenthalt vorallem mit Kindern würd ich definitiv abraten. Zimmer sind klein und die Einrichtung alt. Wir waren mit 2 jährigen Kind da und die erste Nacht mussten wir zu 3 in einem Bett schlafen da uns erst nach einer Nacht das zustellbett hingestellt wurde. Im Bad war der Wasserhahn locker einmal hatte ich sogar den Henkel in der Hand! Klima funktionierte nicht und es war wie in der Sauna man konnte nachts kaum schlafen. Zum Glück war es im Mai und noch nicht allzu heis. Frühstück war ok.

1 haftalık tatil için iki bayan bu otelde kaldık. Resepsiyondaki beyefendi ve yemekhanedeki hanımefendi bize çok yardımcı oldular. Tüm personel güleryüzlü. Odalar küçük, çarşaf ve havlular tertemizdi. Otelin konumu çok güzel, sessiz ve sakin bir sokak. Tramvay durağına çok yakın. Kahvaltı gayet güzel ve yeterli. Fiyatı uygun. Biz çok memnun kaldık, herkese tavsiye ederim. Teşekkürler

Cozy, central hotel with gorgeous cat
Overall a great choice and a great value. The location can't be beat and the owner treats his guests with care and attention. We felt highly welcome and taken care of here. A friendly and helpful night clerk named Atas is a great asset to the team here. The hotel cat is breathtakingly gorgeous and she knows it.
