Nice hotel, not nice experience
The hotel it is very nice, clean and w/ good location. My experience was not so good because my reservation was move to another room in other building that was not even close to call hotel if you compare with dilhayat, not clean, no wifi, no living or terrace to rest and I have to walk out every day for take breakfast. After this I will highly suggest to confirm reservation before get there. The owner change to another better place but still was not what i pay. In general My experience was bad, not with the hotel with the reservation. I suggested if they do this kind of change again be 100% sure that new room is better than yours.

Hotel bien ubicado, a las habitaciones le falta...
Hotel muy bien ubicado en el centro. Más que un hotel es un bed and breakfast. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y no tan cómodas.

Very close to major attractions in Sultanahmet neighborhood and at the same time tucked away from all the noise It has parking available but a bit tricky to drive to get to the hotel Hotel from inside is nice, room cleanliness was ok Breakfast is nothing to fancy about The staff was very nice and helpful

We had some problems with our initial check in and the state of the room when we arrived, which was really frustrating. However, what made it a great stay in the end was the manager, Abdul, who really went out of his way to make it a good experience when he was on shift the next day. He also recommended us some great restaurants in the area that aren’t just tourist traps!

저희 가족에게 정말 만족스러운 숙소였습니다.
이스탄불에서의 5박을 매우 편안하게 보냈습니다. 이곳은 블루모스크에서 매우 가깝게 위치해 있어 구시가지 탐방이 매우 용이했습니다. 룸은 4인 가족이 머물렀는데 침실과 욕실이 정말 넓어 좋았습니다.(저희 아이들도 너무 좋아했습니다.) 아침마다 제공된 조식도 좋았기에 저희 가족은 매일 배부르고 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 조식 장소에서 바라보는 바다조망이 참 멋집니다. 직원 모두 친절하시며 특히 젊은 사장님께서 너무 친절하시고 저희의 요청에 적극적으로 도와주셨습니다. 저희 가족은 이 호텔이 가격대비 너무 좋은 곳이었기에 정말 만족스러운 5박을 보내고 왔습니다. 사장님께 정말 감사드립니다.

feel like at home, the owner very friendly, kind and helpful. As we just cameback from Umroh, he upgraded our room to the suites room. Spot on location, walk distance to many famous place in Istanbul. Will comeback again and recomended to others.

It was a wonderful experience of staying at Dilhayat kalfa. I felt like home and the staff were really nice and especially the manager Mr Abdul Rahim was very friendly and really good at hospitality so we had really enjoyed our stay here . I will definitely recommend this hotel to stay and want to come back again.

The service was absolutely top notch; I really enjoyed chatting with the manager who was always helpful and willing to do whatever he needed to for the customers. The location is absolutely ideal for a visit to the old city. The area has tons of shops, restaurants, and all of the major sites within a few minutes walk.

We were pleasantly greeted by Abdul, our host, who set us up in a room, though we arrived before their check-in time. He further moved our luggage to another room the following day. He was most helpful is directing us to eateries, arranging for reservations to a Turkish bathhouse, and taxis to various locations. The location was great and rooms were very clean as well as having necessary amenities. Breakfast was very good with a rooftop view of the Marmar sea. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely rooftop and location
Awesome location for the tourist sites in Sultanahmet (ie Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and more) - easy walking distance. Also not far from the tram. The rooftop terrace is stunning and makes breakfast really lovely, or any other time of day if you choose. Abdul at the front desk really makes the experience - super friendly, exceedingly helpful. THANKS Abdul! Cons - my room didn’t have a fridge (it was broken and removed before my arrival), there's no in-room safe as indicated on Hotels.com and airport transfer is also super out of date. The rooms are dated and the standard room in particular was pretty meh. Perhaps others are nicer. Overall good stay.

Gracious Hospitality
Our stay at the Dilhayat Kalfa Hotel was very comfortable. The proprietors were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We only stayed one night both at the beginning and the ending of our tour of western Turkey. We would love to return and spend more time in Istanbul. The hotel is in a prime location, within walking distance to main attractions in Istanbul.

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The location was great, quiet street, wonderful view from rooftop terrace where breakfast was served daily, 10 minute walk to major attractions, bazaars, restaurants, ATMs, etc. The only downside would be if you have mobility issues and cannot negotiate stairs.

Jag och maken var där i oktober 2022. Jag säger bara wawww jag är förälskad i Istanbul. Hotellet var jättefint, rent, nära allt, bra val av frukost som man kan äta på balkongen med utsikt mot vattnet. Jättetrevliga personal samt hjälpsamma. Vi kände oss trygga. Vi återkommer igen ❤️❤️

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Damen, die für die Küche zuständig waren, waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war groß und sauber. Wir haben uns in der einen Woche wohl gefühlt.

Ruhige Lage in dieser quirligen Stadt und trotzdem total zentral. Hübsche Dachterrasse. Gutes leckeres Frühstück. Alles da was man braucht und sehr sauber. Süße Einrichtung und sehr nette Menschen. Etwas hellhörig, aber das ist angesichts der vielen positiven Punkte zu vernachlässigen und meist ist man ja sowieso so müde nach der Stadt, dass man es nicht bekommt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert.
