The apartment was well furnished with good space and utilities, and comfy beds. The location was ideal with lots of good restaurants nearby and easy access to Galata area and Old City over the Galata bridge

A quiet, lovely place next to the bustling Galata Tower and amazing food / bars. The rooftop terrace is a magical place to view the city and watch the sunrise or sunset. The manager was responsive and very helpful! I absolutely recommend this place! It’s everything you hope it will be.

The staff was great. Very helpful and responsive.However, the apartment was advertised as having AC. However, the AC was only in one of the two rooms. The rest of the apartment did not have AC.

Great location

The only air conditioning unit for the apartment was in the ground floor bedroom . The second bedroom was at basement level down a spiral staircase which I hadn’t anticipated from the description. Apart from those points the flat was fine and the location was excellent

Great location at a major attraction

Amazing apartment when traveling with friends or for a family. The management company is very responsive and the u it is well appointed. Just a note, the rooftop terrace is up 10 flights of stairs and there is no lift. To grab a taxi or Uber, go away from the Galata Tower, that makes it easier to catch/order a ride.

Galata Tower location

Good 2 bed 2 bath small apartment (plus possible small childs room within 1 of the bedrooms - bathroom separate to this 1 half bedroom).Clean with well equipped kitchen. Ideal location in the midst of everything, quaint area (but hilly with cobblestone streets - not suited to those with mobility issues). Shopping 'high' street nearby. Apartment overlooks dirty space between buildings on one side and is positioned against rooves on the other side so opening windows not really an option (due to pigeons nesting (and their droppings) in the building gap and potential security access issues from adjoining rooves) so slight damp musty smell is evident from lack of fresh air. Internal unit is clean though and while its an old building the apartment has a nice homely feel. The rooftop is a big climb upstairs but worth it for the view.

Good apartment in a perfect location

Excellent location and apartment. Exactly as described. Beds comfortable, lovely quality linen and towels. Super service from the owners throughout the booking process and whilst we were in Istanbul. Highly recommended.

Not as advertised

We stayed in summer 2024. The location is great. The apartment itself is very old. It was clean but had a terrible smell in it, the manager tried to resolve the issue but unsuccessfully. When we came home all our clothing had this smell. It wasn’t smell of humidity, it was something else, like chemicals. The smell was the biggest issue as my daughter has allergies and I myself couldn’t sleep because of it. Communication was good with both the manager and the owners. Also, in the small room , something from the ceiling ( like white lime or old painting)was coming of right onto the bed under it. My daughter couldn’t sleep there. Holes in the floor. The terrace didn’t have umbrellas like pictured, only old wooden tables.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was perfect for our stay. The location was great with good restaurants very close. Galata Tower is only a few metres away which made it easy to find our way. The apartment was very clean and comfy and well equipped, it had everything we could have needed. Amazing views from the rooftop terrace.

Spacious apartment meters away from Galata tower

This apartment is literally next to Galata tower which places it in the heart of a very lively neighborhood. Dispite that, the apartment itself is very quiet. Our unit was on the ground floor, and was quite roomy for our family with a 1.5 bedrooms on the first floor and a separate bedroom and bathroom below (perfect place for our teenager!). There are no views from the apartment itself as the windows are frosted and look into allyways, however the view from the rooftop is spectacular. You have to be a bit careful, and it is a bit of a climb, but you are rewarded for your effort! Hosts were very accomodating, with great recommendations for local food as well as prompt responses to our inquiries during the stay itself. They were also very flexible in our arrival times. We are very happy with our pick, as it set us up for a great time in Istanbul.
