Scott’s place was quaint and accommodated us relatively well for a 2 night stay. Check in was easy and Scott was easy to reach. The furniture was a bit chintzy, we were worried the couch would break if we sat on it and the bistro kitchen set as well but fortunately nothing even came close to breaking. Only other concern was the outside need don’t clean up of cobwebs and a few big scary bugs. Thank you for hosting Scott!

Well appointed 1 bedroom unit in a nice quiet neighborhood. Communication with owner was seamless and check in was a breeze. Unit was clean and as shown in the pictures in the listing. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again when in the area!

Amazing stay!

This house is BEAUTIFUL. It looked exactly like the listing and was absolutely perfect for me and my boyfriend. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the grocery store was 5 minutes away. Our trip would not have been the same without this place. I am sure to book with Scott again for my next trip to Long Island!

Charming perfect stay!

Wonderfully quaint! Our stay was perfect. I felt like I was at home. Everything you need for a few days stay or even longer. Super clean and inviting. Communication was absolutely hospitable! No regrets and I would definitely stay again!

Well appointed and cozy

The place was great! The host though of everything, literally. Things that you wouldn't think would even be needed were there. Everything was excellent, cozy and very welcoming. The property was exactly as discribed. I can't say enough about the cleanliness and cozy vibe. We look forward to staying again if we are ever in the area. Ewarm and welcoming.

Peace and quiet

Super cute apartment with lots of personal touches that is perfect for one person or a couple. The host was quick to respond with any questions. I have family in Islip so I’ve stayed at two other rentals in the area and this was by far the best. It is in a modest neighborhood of homes that are well taken care of. It is also nice knowing you have a dedicated parking spot. The best part of the stay for me though was the quiet. The only thing that woke me up in the morning were the birds. I’m hoping the apartment is available the next time I’m in town.

A very nice stay

We came up from Fl for our granddaughter’s birthday . We stayed Wednesday to Wednesday . Our flight came in very late and we had no trouble finding or getting into our apt. Very clean and well maintained . Plenty of hot water for showers . It was perfect for our stay and Scott always answered right away if we needed to contact him . We will be staying there again in the summer

Cute little place

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this cute little place. The place was clean and in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are several excellent restaurants within a few minutes of driving distance. We spent a day at the Heckscher State Park beach, which is nearby. We were planning to visit the Bayard Cutting Arboretum but couldn't because it started raining. Overall, a nice stay.

great little place

This worked out great for my stay on Long Island to visit family. It was perfect for 1 person and would still work for 2, but tight for any more. It was very clean and quiet. The neighborhood feels comfortably safe and you are parking in an area surrounded by the place, fence and bushes with a motion detecting security light, so I never worried about coming in late at night or about my car. Very nice backyard space, very private. The kitchen is small, not much workspace. I did not cook so it worked for me.Nice workspace. Very near to restaurants, bagels, deli but far enough that no noise. Bathroom is small but works for 1 person.AC is in livingroom so I brought a medium fan to blow the air into the bedroom so that worked out- bedroom would be warm without it. Went to Baynard Cutting arboretum around the corner and it was beautiful- worth the time. Loose rubber covering on mattress makes it slightly uncomfortable- I am fussy and it was ok for me. You need to walk through livingroom and kitchen to get to bathroom, but small enough of space that it is not far.The place worked out well for me and i would definitely come back.

Just what we wanted!

This was the first time that we stayed in a VRBO and we were very pleased. The apartment was exactly as advertised and located in a quiet neighborhood. We walked into a very clean apartment that was stocked with all of the essentials we would need for our stay (i.e., dishes, utensils, towels, linens, etc.). In addition, the host thought of stocking it with a few extras, such as flavored coffee and tea k-cups for the Keurig, curling iron, and some snacks and bottled water. Our host was great! He always answered messages in a timely manner and responded to our requests. We would definitely stay here again! water water, etc.

Lovely place- great alternative to boring hotel!

The location of this place and convenience to sports fields and restaurants was great! We were here for my sons lacrosse tournament and the convenience, price and overall comfort of a place like this over a hotel is priceless. Very clean and well maintained; the clear communication was also a nice bonus :)! I would recommend this option to anyone coming to the area.

As Advertised

We stayed here with our teenage son, while in town for a sports tournament. It is conveniently located to many shops, restaurants, and freeway access. Apartment is small, but thoughtfully decorated and stocked with anything one may need. Communication with the host was great and check-in was easy.

Perfect rental for our family of three

This property was absolutely perfect for our quick trip. It had a single bedroom with plenty of space, even after two suitcases were opened all over the floor. The living room area, kitchen and bath were clean and had ample room for our family of three. My favorite part was the secluded back patio area. The seating area, fire pit and cafe lights were the perfect spot to have coffee in the morning and read a book in the evening. The kitchen was stocked, unlike most rentals we’ve stayed in. There was coffee (with creamer and sweeteners), snacks and waters available to us when we got there. As well anything needed for cooking, including spices. Our host was more than accommodating, reaching out several times to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town!

Compact, modern, clean

Small, but very functional and neat. There were three of us here for about a week. Nice outdoor furniture to sit in. It was a bit rainy while we were there so didn't spend much time enjoying it, but nice when we did. Host is very attentive. Would recommend and would also stay there again.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. We were up in the area of my brother’s engagement party. It is in like a shared multi family house but we never once heard the other tenants. It was exactly as pictured online. The futon was pretty comfortable too! The real bed was also great. The host, Scott, was also extremely responsive. My only negative thing to say is that it did not have a cookie sheet, but we bought a foil one to use which was totally fine. They even had a whole drawer of spices & oil/vinegar to use! Also, the firepit was great!!! We will definitely be back and will be recommending this to our friends and family.
