"The house was a perfect for our group. The large, well stocked, kitchen let us eat in sometimes. View was very nice and we enjoyed the easy walk into town and a restaurant being so close. As described, there is no bathroom upstairs, which was fine as we were all family. The bathrooms downstairs were nice and big! The house has old world charm and the host family was great!! Would def. stay here again."

"Down East day trip locale perfected! Bring your whole family and rent all three suites. The hosts have accomplished absolute magic in their herculean efforts to make this building a draw for the town. They succeeded wildly, with only a few new-lodging quirks to work out. The design is just enough, with subtle details somehow receding into the character of the moment rather than feeling obvious and cliché. We have been waiting for years to see what might be accomplished here, with not high hopes....

"The overall house was very nice. It was very clean, neat and organized. Our two complaints would be the road to the house was very desolate and full of ruts and very large holes. The water coming out of the faucets smelled awful. It had a very high sulfuric odor. It also came out dark gray when the faucet was first turned on. We had to let it run for awhile. The water that was supposed to be filtered tasted terrible. We ended up buying bottled water."

"What an outstanding experience at Rachael's home! She is an exceptional host who went out of her way to welcome us and was available whenever needed. She provides a perfectly clean, comfortable and fully-equipped home great for our family with 2 young children. It is an outstanding location, beautiful property inside and out. "We had a wonderful stay at this place. The house is spacious and well-furnished. It's clean, well maintained and the beds are comfortable. The scenery is beautiful and my son was fascinated with the boats going in and out of the harbor. The hosts responded quickly to the few inquiries we had. This place would be great during any season! The one downside was that the fireplace was not working and there is no firepit outside."
