Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful week in this unit. The communication leading up to and during our stay was the best we have ever had. Lots of good info on things to do, restaurants, etc. The condo was one of the cleanest we have been in and everything was as listed on the details of the condo.. We had no issues, everything worked perfectly and we enjoyed being able to walk right out the screened in porch to the beach. This is our fifth stay at Wild Dunes and one of the best ones due to location, quality of the condo, location and the owners who were fantastic. Would definitely come back.

Clean property with great beach access

We loved our stay at The Sandcastle. The condo is perfect for a couple who enjoys the beach. We loved walking right out of the condo and onto the sand. It is also close to downtown Charleston as well as other restaurants and activities if you don't want to spend all your time on the beach. Michael is a great host who made us feel prepared with his recommendations!

We enjoyed a very relaxed and comfortable week at the IOP in this condo! Probably the very best one bedroom condo with have stayed in on the Isle of Palms. Michael was very helpful and pleasant to work with. We will definitely rent the condo again!

Our Quick getaway

My wife and I decided last minute to make a weekend getaway. The booking process and check in process was super easy. Once we arrived at the condo, it definitely did not disappoint. We absolutely loved our stay and the convenience of the rentals for our chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and corn hole boards! We’ll definitely be back! Such a Beautiful Stay!

This is an absolutely lovely unit. We come to wild dunes at least once a year and have stayed at WD at least 10 times. This is by far, one of the most beautiful spots we have stayed at. Access to the beach is perfect and the condo is recently renovated. All the furnishings inside were super cute. In addition, this unit has a sleeping area in the foyer which my son loved. All the communication and check in instructions were good. Honestly, it was the most seamless check in process that I have ever had! We will likely book in the future. I think really the only things that could be improved upon were: First, the floors were pretty dirty. I had to sweep and do my best to wet wipe the floors with the partial paper towel roll the unit provided. I think any beach property can certainly be a challenge but every corner kind of had sand in it, the shower, etc… I think probably they need to make sure that the cleaning team is hitting the baseboards and floors really thoroughly, lifting up the mats etc. or this could get problematic for this beautiful unit over time. The bathmats in the bathroom probably need washing or replacing. The master bed mattress was not very comfortable for us. Just really soft and kind of deformed around your body. The pillow situation could be better as well but we were able to make that work with some of the sham pillows. The curtains were fairly translucent and made it a little more challenging to sleep once the sun came up. If you head down early to the beach, this shan’t be a problem for you! Additional thoughts! The kitchen was very well equipped, even a wine fridge! Note, there really wasn’t much extra, so if you do stay at this unit, be prepared to bring it all! They also will make that clear in the emails before your trip. I did really appreciate that there were some books in the living room and we also found a yoga mat in the closet. We loved these discoveries! We also appreciated the credit toward additional beach gear that was provided when we booked. We were able to get extra boogie boards and extra chairs etc. Thank you so much for a great stay! We are grateful and had such a special week!

The condo is great - super clean and comfortable - but the best feature is the location. The walkout to the beach is amazing, and the views from every room are just wonderful.

Great experience from scheduling to departure! Property was updated, comfortable, accessible and as pictured. Loved location. Would certainly go back. Only negative was condition of mattress - seemed aged and unevenly worn.

Oceanfront paradise

Our favorite part of this first-floor condo was the screened-in porch - simply open the door and you are steps away from the beach. New stainless appliances, washer, dryer, and plenty of amenities. Plenty of storage, a large master bedroom, and an updated bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Lovely Place

This was a lovely place. Very “beach-eccentric” as it should be. We felt we had vern transported into paradise. The location - out the screen door, onto the beach - could not have been better. The only thing I missed was a disposal in the kitchen. We eat in a lot and enjoy fresh veggies and fruits. Getting rid of rinds and seeds helps. Anyway - if you can stay here, do do.

Beautifully updated condo on the sand!

My husband & I loved our time at this cute beachy condo. It was completely updated recently. It was very clean & I am the queen of clean! It is very small, but for a couple it is perfect. Loved sitting out on the screened in porch in the morning & evenings! If I had any negatives, the king bed has a very soft memory foam topper on it, & both my husband & I like a little firmer mattress. And there were no beach towels, but we usually drive to IOP, so that wasn’t such a big deal for us either. We tried to rent it again when we checked out the last day, but the week in late Sept. we requested, was already taken so we had to stay somewhere else. Overall it was 5 stars from us & I am sure we will stay there again, hopefully in the not so distant future!

Beautiful Beach location!

Amazing location, loved being able to walk out the front porch right on to the beach! The unit could use some renovations in the bathroom and kitchen areas, and the rug in the family room was very hard and uncomfortable to walk on. Overall love staying in Wild dunes, the beach is unbelievably gorgeous!
