The property was exactly as described in the listing. It was a fantastic fit for our family. Everyone had their own bedroom and the common areas were great for hanging out. The property is in a great location convenient to golf, restaurants and the beach. The golf cart made it easy to get around the resort. Owner was very responsive and easy to reach. We loved it.

Lovely location

The location of the home was perfect. Thirty five min from airport, and 5 min to beach. The neighborhood was just lovely with all of the colonial homes. The golf cart was a great addition to get to all of our locations, and, the pingpong table was used by all.

Beautiful home in a beautiful place

We loved everything about this trip. The home is large, spotless, and full of everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay on the Isle of Palms. The area is just beautiful, with easy access to the marina, beach, golf and restaurants. The house comes with enough bikes for everyone, a golf cart to cruise around the neighborhood, and is stocked with high-end everything. Our family of 5 had tons of space and we loved gathering every morning and evening on the screened in porch to enjoy the scenery and catch up. I highly recommend and hope to be back to this gem!

Everything you could need!

We have been coming to IOP for several years and staying in Wild Dunes. Family of 4 agrees this is our favorite stay thus far. The house was extremely well appointed with everything you could need. Very spacious and super clean!! The view from the screened in balcony overlooking the golf course just feels like… vacation. Would highly recommend!!

Exceeded ALL Expectations!

This house truly MADE our vacation! From the location, to the amenities, to how beautiful and clean it is. I honestly couldn't have asked for more. Our family of 4 stayed with another family of 4, and everyone had plenty of room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate, and the kitchen was spacious and stocked with everything you could need. Not only did the owner, Carol, think of EVERYTHING to make our stay wonderful prior to us arriving, but she also was able to track down and mail a pair of airpods that our Australian friends left behind. On the last night of our stay, my wife made me promise her that we would come back and stay at least once a year.

Great House, Great Location

Carol’s home is lovely and very well equipped. It even includes little things many rentals do not traditionally have such as dishwasher and laundry detergent, coffee, spices, plastic wrap and bags, etc. She also left us very thoughtful welcome basket! Carol is very responsive and makes a special effort to be sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time at Wild Dunes. The VRBO app email was a little glitchy before we arrived, so we texted her and she responded very quickly. Everything you need for the beach (chairs, cooler, umbrella, towels, etc.) is provided. We made great use of the bikes and golf cart to get back and forth to the beach. The 46th Street beach access always had ample parking and the beach wasn’t ever crowded. Much different than the Grand Pavilion beach area where we’ve often rented on the ocean and/or near the boardwalk. Our grandson really enjoyed the pool which is a short walk from the house and the ping pong table! Lots of space for everyone to be together but also plenty of space to spread out. Three of the adults with us worked remotely for part of the week and no one ever had trouble finding a private place for a call or internet access issues. We’ve been to Wild Dunes more than a dozen times over the last 20 years and have stayed in many types of properties. We would rent this property again, without hesitation!

All the Little Things

What an amazing property and what an awesome experience! The house has a very appealing layout and open main level floor plan. The location was super convenient and the neighbors were extremely friendly and helpful. The bicycles and golf cart that were provided were life savers! But, the absolute best part was realizing all of the little things that were there for us… the things the property owners thought of and had on site to make the trip easy peasy. For example, there were Tupperware containers, an assortment of coffees, family board games, extra beach towels, screens on ALL of the porch doors, and they even provided a sewing kit! There were more things, but I have a limited amount of characters to type here lol. The owner was very timely with communication and I 100% recommend booking this property. :)

House has everything!

This House had everything needed for our stay, beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes, golf cart, smoker, etc and meticulously clean. Location was perfect as well. Carol made everything super easy for check in and check out. Our 3 baseball families had a great time! Thank you!

Home away from home

This home was an amazing place for our family for the week. We had plenty of space to spread out and plenty to keep us busy! Between the golf cart, easy beach access, the marina, paddle boarding, ping pong, and countless games to amuse us before going to bed, it was a memorable experience. Carol was also great and easy to reach out to when we had questions about activities we could do. It really felt like a home away home.

Great Spot

We loved everything about it, except that the front stairs were roped off and inaccessible the entire time we were there! Super inconvenient for 11 people. Other than that, it was great.

Easy access to Wild Dunes shops and restaurants. Very nice house with lots of bikes/chairs/etc that you would need for activities around the island. Would rent again for sure.

Amazing and so family friendly

We had an amazing time and Carol was great to work with. This house has everything you need and more. We were traveling with an infant and there even was a pack and play/ full size high chair in the home. Made traveling with a baby a breeze! We can’t wait to come back.

Girls Weekend Success

We had a girls weekend and the house was absolutely perfect. Very short biking distance to the beach. Had a fantastic dinner at the obstinate daughter. Highly recommend this place and would love to go back.

Beach Castle

Very nicely decorated. Spacious room design. There were 11 of us and it never felt crowded. Kitchen was well equipped. Carol was friendly, attentive and accommodated our special requests. Leaving Charleston goodies like benne wafers, key lime cookies and local peanuts was a welcoming touch. It was great having access to a golf cart, bikes, beach towels and pool toys.

We have rented in the wild Dunes development for 7 years.... this property by far out rates the others.... Carol was very gracious and accommodating! The place was beautifully decorated, clean and met all our needs for our family vacation....We look forward to returning next year!

Family Vacation

This property completely exceeded our expectations! There wasn't anything left to wish for. The house was exceptionally clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need on vacation: coolers, bikes, games, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all our family meals. And, the outdoor living spaces were so inviting that you never wanted to go inside.

Highly Recommend This House

I stay in lots of VRBO homes as well as I have a rental of my own. This how and the homeowner was amazing. The house is extremely well stocked and has an easy layout, love the screened-in porch and the lower patio with TV and firepit. The neighborhood is pretty and a great way to get in easy walks and bike rides. Highly recommend renting this house!

Beautiful rental in Isle of Palms

We stayed here w friends & loved it! Super clean, updated & great location. Looks exactly how it’s advertised. Quick bike ride to the beach and grocery store. Host was very helpful when I had questions. Would definitely stay here again in the future!
