Quick getaway

Great location, and easy access to the beach for fantastic sunrises. Property was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable.

NOT a good choice.

This was by far the worst condo we've ever stayed in. Before specifics, I want to say that Island Realty (prop. mgt. company) really stepped up and responded to us in a positive manner. They were unaware of these problems and were very responsive to our emails/texts. This unit is in poor condition. It desperately needs upgrades. The location is BEAUTIFUL, so it's sad that it's not up to par. Problems included dead bugs on the wall upon arrival, ceiling fixture is a lightbulb from the ceiling, burnt and damaged counter top, furniture is worn out...couches, mattresses, mold around shower, old appliances, and TV barely worked. Roku television kept losing signal and often we went without it. Poor lighting in unit. This was our first visit to the area. We will definitely be looking for a different place if we come back, but are very thankful for Island Realty....Hopeful that they can initiate changes and upgrades.

Great location. Right on the beach. Lots of room in our two bedroom unit. Fairly priced. Carpets need cleaning or replacing, but overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Island Realty!

Do Not Stay Here - SeaGrove 2C

Beware of the online pictures! The unit was a disappointment. It needs to be gutted. The flooring was in terrible shape, old worn out carpet in the bedrooms and the tile in the other rooms were mismatched and dated. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets were old and had been painted over without primer. Not enough furniture and what furniture that was there was poorly situated. The TV was setting on the dresser in the one bedroom in front of the mirror. I had to use kitchen chairs as nightstands. The excuse was a new owner has taken over and is going to renovate. Shouldn’t the new owner renovate first before putting in the rental system? We cut the trip short. The unit was uncomfortable for a vacation to say the least.

Needs Major Updates

We enjoyed or stay at the IOP. I give the property 5 star on location and cleanliness. Honestly, I am not a picky person but the unit needs some major upgrades. A little paint, a new kitchen table, a new light fixture in the dining area, new boards on the deck are just some of the things I noticed. I would definitely stay here again though.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a perfect vacation for Grandmother, daughter and granddaughter. We relaxed, played on the beach and ocean and pool.A bike ride showed native animals deer and alligator which was a thrill for us animal lovers. The condo was perfect and right on the beach as advertised.I would highly recommend this island and this rental.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great! Not a cloud in the sky the whole time. We were fortunate that low tide occurred midday so we could be on beach. Hard to believe but unit did not have access to wifi so that was an inconvenience. A/C didn't work but was fixed by maintenance. Only reason to not recommend is lack of wifi-everyone expects it now.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don't stay in this condo until there are some real upgrades. The carpet is filthy, beyond cleaning. There are ripples and paths worn into it. Don't expect to use the internet - no WIFI (really?). One of the sofas is broken. There were no cleaning supplies. We couldn't clean up after ourselves. I owned a similar unit 8 years ago (10 C). I would have been embarrassed to rent it if it looked like this! However, Seagrove is wonderful and Island Realty does a great job.

Reviewer Comments: Pro: proximity to the beach and pool Cons: dirty floors, appliances, showers, sink; poor condition of sink fixtures (residue and broken pieces) and wall air registers (rusted); dated appliances and poor quality of furniture/bed linens; NO WIFI; Fair view, but limited by trees. ***Some type of rodent (mouse or rat) ate on an apple left out on counter during the night.

The condo was clean, but the owners need to add a few more cereal/soup bowls in the kitchen cabinet because there was only two. Also, they need to buy fitted sheets that fit the twin beds because they slip off during the night. These are just minor things. Overall, we had a great stay!
