Wonderful Family Vacation

The staff at East Islands was very helpful in answering all our questions prior to the trip, and they were very prompt in coming to our rescue when we foolishly managed to lock ourselves out of the elevator. Overall a great experience.

Great home

This was a great location for our group of friends! Right on the beach, great rooms, fantastic porches and areas to sit and relax! Enjoyed by all!! Elevator did not work at check-in, but rental company had someone there a couple days later to fix it.

Wonderful Time celebrating our 60th Reunion from Lehigh

Four couples. House is absolutely great. Living spaces, bedrooms and spectacular living room and views of beach and oceans.A little further from Charleston center that expected due to traffic but not a serious problem. Wish that all five bedrooms had king size beds not 2 kings and 3 queens.

The house was better than advertised and super clean and spacious. Everything in working order and the views each morning were amazing. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and beautiful sunsets. Kitchen worked well for family meals and plenty of space to spread out.

Not your typical beach home

The home is gorgeously decorated. The kitchen has everything you need . (FYI cooking trays. Are above microwave) Each bedroom has its own spacious bathroom. Views of ocean breathtaking. We came with 4 little ones 9 years old and younger. Great location on cul de sac for them to play safely. Md can’t say enough good things about East island rental company. Very responsive to our inquiries.

The layout was perfect with 5 bedrooms/baths with access to screened porches/decks, and 2 large living rooms. The downside is it has lots of stairs, the elevator helped until it broke near the end of our stay. Can't say enough good things about the East Island Rentals crew, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a lovely house; we'd actually stayed in it once before when it was managed by Wild Dunes. A few things I'd mention: The rooms definitely need more hooks and hooks and towel bars in the bathrooms. I know this is up to the owner but it is something you might mention to them. Also, the size of the washing machine/dryer is much too small for a house that is a beach rental for as many people as the house holds. That, too, is an owner decision but should be suggested to them - especially with such a high rent. As an aside, the rubber around the opening of the washing machine was dirty; got black on some white items. Hopefully these are helpful suggestions.

Most of house is relatively outdated, amenities were not working (elevator broke after first day, ice machine under counter not working with no sign or communication there was an issue). No additional blankets. Not enough towels (and no beach towels).

Gorgeous Sunrises!

The house was stunning! It is directly on the beach and although it was cold and windy a lot of the time, (November) the ample sunshine and beauty of the beach was very soothing and relaxing! We did have a few housekeeping issues when we first arrived, and most all of the issues we had were handled immediately. The only negative was we could not sit in the main kitchen/living area for much of the day as a majority of the blinds were either missing or broken and the sun made it impossible to sit there. I was informed by the Mgmt. company they were on order. Luckily we found many excursions to occupy our time during the day, but it would have been nice to utilize that room more as it was the most stunning with the best views. All in all we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend! Just make sure you ask about the blinds! They are needed in that room

Elegant Oceanfront Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This a beautiful oceanfront home with 5 bedrooms, each with a private bath. The spacious main bedroom is the only one on the third floor and the only bedroom with a king bed. The kitchen and main living space are also on the third floor (there is an elevator) which provides a great view of the expansive beach. Four bedrooms are on the second floor. There is a boardwalk on the property directly to the beach for easy access.The independent icemaker was not working but East Island Rentals brought us bags of ice upon request. This rental does not come with a sports package, so no pool or access to tennis/pickleball is available with the rental.

We rented the house that is 3 levels because it said elevator. Steep steps are difficult. I received a call the day before arriving that elevator was not working. They did get it fixed but it broke again midweek. They got someone out there 24 hours later to repair. The house did not have dish towels for kitchen or liquid soap. Furniture was upholstered in white fabric which is difficult with small children.
