Loved our stay

Very comfortable place on the quiet side of IOP. Well built with noise separation and comfortable beds. Loved the ocean views.

2nd year in a row

Back to back years— Place is great. Mid/late summer stay so there are always little things that need fixed by this time of the summer but any homeowner knows this is to be expected. Nothing too obvious or worth reporting as it had no impact on our great stay and we would stay here again anytime.

Wild Dunes villa

Property was very nice and well furnished. Internet and TV did not work upstairs, lacking oven mitts for use in oven, downstairs bedroom had 2 queen beds( very tight when trying to open closet)

Perfect Spring Break Getaway at a Peaceful Location

We chose this spot for our spring break and it was perfect! The house was spacious, clean, and had a well-stocked kitchen which made meals a breeze. Check-in and check-out were seamless. The community pool was quiet and felt like our own private retreat, plus we were just steps away from Wild Dunes' restaurants. Using the beach credit, we easily rented chairs and bikes, enhancing our beach days. Mornings were spent admiring stunning sunrises and the beach was simply wonderful. We enjoyed running and walking around the safe, scenic community and even made it to Charleston twice, which was a highlight. With a grocery store just 10 minutes away, our needs were conveniently met. The community was not only welcoming but perfectly peaceful—ideal for a relaxing getaway. We’d love to return!

WONDERFUL VACATION EXPERIENCE

This was our first time with an extended stay at IOP (Wild Dunes)- We had stayed at the hotel last year. The property was perfect for our family and everyone had a great time. The furnishings were excellent and we were all able to have quality together time as well as enough space to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could hope for. The space below the lanai was great to keep our beach gear. The only thing we would have really liked that was not available would have been access to a grill. I noticed another property did have one- even if electric, it would have been nice to grill a steak, etc. I was surprised there was not one even near the pool for resort access. I feel like we will definitely come back and this unit was perfect for our needs.

Good Location, lousy cell phone service, need to clean floors…..

We liked the property, but, could not use our cell phones (verizon) while inside the condo. We had to hook up to the wi-fi just to receive & send calls, that had to be from the parking lot outside of the condo. Therefore, we will not be back to this location. Also, for the owner, the cleaning crew may want to step it up a bit. Our 7 month old grand daughter would crawl on the floor & day one, she was black on her hands & knees from the dirty floors/carpet.

Clean and comfortable

The actual unit was good. It had some minor things that I would fix if I owned it, but nothing that negatively impacted my visit. The company representing the owner was very attentive. The exterior of the condo project rates below average. The pool was closed. The grounds were under repair with pieces of plastic pipe and electrical wiring sticking out of the ground. The ground from the unit to the beach access was uneven with hidden holes in the grass. The parking lot pavement had many patches and cracked areas. The buildings needed painting and had rust stains on the ocean side. Landscaping needs attention. If I were an owner in this complex, I would be very unhappy with the attention being given by the homeowner's association and their management company. The exterior is really showing it's age.

Great location for a restful stay

It was a great value for the money. Well appointed and on the beach. Just could use a bit of updating. But overall, a wonderful stay! I would definitely recommend it!

Gorgeous Views-

The only suggestion I have is redo the grout in the bathrooms. They have black mold which was a big turn off when the rest of the place was gorgeous. Excellent location- we loved it.

Paradise

Beautiful villa with breathtaking views of the ocean. I would definitely stay in this location again. Short walk to the beach and plenty of room in the villa for all of us to spread out. Very quiet location with privacy on both the screened in porch and upper sun deck.

Great floorplan with a great location

We just returned from our stay at this property. It was just as advertised, 3 bedrooms with 3 full baths. Perfect for 6 people. Kitchen had all we needed to do some light cooking and had a real coffee maker (a plus for us). Location was great, right at the beach - just had to walk through the grass to the dunes. Very convenient. We even used the pool. Thanks for letting us stay! We'll be back

Great place but no outdoor grill

Great place to spend the week. Pool/ beach/ amenities all as advertised. There are not any outdoor grills. Property is at far end of island, so it is 40+ minutes to Charleston center. Only 2 dish pods provided for dish washer and trash bags are cheap. Everything else was great.

New kitchen

We loved the kitchen being so well stocked with the necessities..The bath towels very luxurious and ample towel bars with handy hook..Beds were comfortable,and plenty of good pillows.. the storage under house for beach equipment was clean and had a hose and shower. One problem,the outlets did not work in any of bathrooms..we couldn't find fuse box to reset..

I had no complaints. It was just as it was described! It was easy to get to the beach easy to get to the pool.... it was very clean, everything you needed was in the kitchen and we loved it!

Great Spring Break

Wonderful time with nice weather. Pool opened our first day but water was too cold for adults to linger very long. My granddaughter enjoyed it anyway. 😏 Beach was comfortable, warm and worth the trip. The beach equipment package helped and the ease of preordering bicycles through the condo management was very convenient. The condo was very nice, well located and the family agreed it was worth a return trip when warmer.

Wild Dunes

This villa is just steps away from a beautiful beach within a lovely resort. We were able to enjoy the conveniences and amenities at Wild Dunes while maintaining easy driving access to Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant and Charleston. The villa was extremely clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to cook family meals. Views of the ocean were great, Wifi worked well, the rental office was always available and easy to work with. I highly recommend this property. We would absolutely stay here again when we return to Isle of Palms.

Everything was perfect but...

We were not notified until a week before our stay that the pool was no open due to covid. But we could go to the community pool (so we would be exposed to more people and have more chance of interacting with someone with the virus). Do you know how inconvenient it is to put 2 children in car seats to go to a pool. We specifically picked this place for the pool. Maybe if we had been given more warning or even a discount we could have rented a golf cart or something. Also parking was a huge issue. Lines need to be drawn on the parking lot so people don’t park in multiple places. Parking spots should be assigned because people had more than 2 cars. Also many spots were taken due to equipment for paving the parking lot. I understand Covid has caused many issues however, I do not think we were properly informed or received everything we payed for in our stay.

Best family vacation ever

Our family spent a wonderful week on Wild Dunes and were very pleased with the villa at Beach Club. Very nicely renovated, comfortable and roomy for six adults and a two year old. Well equipped kitchen as we cooked in almost every night due to Covid closings. Disappointed to find villa pool closed when we arrived and no community grill as advertised. Would definitely rent again.

Great Location at Wild Dunes

20 Beach Club Villas was perfect for our family of four. The unit was clean, well furnished, nicely decorated and very comfortable. We would definitely stay at this unit again.
